Jim Quincy cleared his throat. "Don't be so pessimistic. There's still a long life ahead of you. You two will have a chance to acknowledge each other eventually."
"I hope you're right."
Jim Quincy changed the subject. "Ian said you caught the person, but then let them go."
"It's all to catch them in one fell swoop. There's still one left, hiding with Ruth. Ruth arranged for them to stay in the South District, which isn't under your jurisdiction. But Cecilia is your daughter-in-law, so you can intervene and ask some questions. Call the South District and tell them this…" Titus Shaw explained his idea.
Jim Quincy agreed. "Okay, that's easy enough to handle. But won't your sister just tell that person to run for it?"
Titus Shaw replied, "She won't have the presence of mind for that right now."
