Clara finally stopped eating and looked up at him, puzzled. "What…"
Before the word was even out of her mouth, she saw Seth Quinn raise a hand toward her face. She instinctively flinched back, asking in alarm, "What are you doing?"
Seth Quinn stared at the clean corners of her mouth and said nonchalantly, his expression unchanged, "You have something on your mouth. I'll wipe it off for you."
'If he didn't make a move, she probably wouldn't look up for the entire meal. How would he get his chance to wipe her mouth?'
"Oh, really?"
Clara ran her tongue over the corners of her mouth. 'I've had my head down this whole time,' she wondered. 'How could he have seen anything on my mouth?'
But she didn't dwell on it and reached for the napkin in his hand. "Thanks, but I can get it myself."
Clara, however, had no idea how sexy and alluring her unconscious lick of her lips had been, and it made Seth Quinn's gaze darken instantly.
