Faye Jennings heard Linden introduce Poppy as his girlfriend, yet now she heard Poppy call him "brother." She found their way of addressing each other peculiar, but she kept a smile on her face.
"Of course. I'll go sign some more and bring them to you in a little while."
"Thank you, then." Poppy Vance offered a cute smile, but it didn't quite reach her eyes.
A moment ago, she had told Seth Quinn that she liked Faye Jennings, mostly to play along with Linden, but it was also the truth. Faye Jennings was beautiful and a good actress; a lot of people liked her. While Poppy wasn't a die-hard fan, she did admire her.
However, seeing her in person just now, Poppy didn't feel the excitement she'd expected when meeting an idol. For one thing, she didn't seem as pretty as she did on television.
And for another, it was the way she looked at Seth Quinn.
