As she spoke, the tea was ready. She poured a cup for Marcus Jarvis, placed it on the table, and said with a smile, "If you like it, I can pack some for you to take home."
"Well, thank you in advance." Marcus Jarvis casually draped his suit jacket over the sofa and sat down. "I didn't realize Ms. Hayes also made her own ointment. You must have studied medicine."
"I've only learned the basics," Skylar Hayes said with a small smile. "Please, Mr. Jarvis, drink your tea."
...
After quickly finishing his tea, Marcus Jarvis glanced at his watch. He smiled at Skylar Hayes and said, "Ms. Hayes, the tea was excellent. Thank you. I should be going now."
With that, he stood up, and Skylar Hayes rose to her feet as well. As Marcus Jarvis got up, his wallet slipped from his pants pocket and fell onto the sofa, but neither of them noticed.
Skylar Hayes remembered the ointment. "Mr. Jarvis, please wait. I'll go get it."
