Over the next few days, news of perfect scores on the biology and chemistry exams broke one after another, sending the entire school abuzz. This was something that had never happened in any of the previous monthly exams.
The monthly exams were internal school tests. To gauge the students' true abilities and help them improve, the teachers graded with extreme stringency, essentially nitpicking every little detail. As a result, perfect scores were exceedingly rare.
However, in this final monthly exam, not only did a perfect score appear, but there were perfect scores in three different subjects. This meant these were exam papers so flawless that not even the most notoriously nitpicky teachers could find a single mistake.
All at once, the homeroom teachers were anxiously awaiting the day the results would be released, each wondering if one of those three perfect papers belonged to a student from their class.
