"Ms. Sutton, what's wrong?" Sean Carter asked curiously.
Before Ms. Sutton could answer, a woman's anxious voice came from the doorway. "Sean Carter, how is Damien? I heard he was attacked!"
"Madam? What are you doing here?" Sean Carter looked toward the voice, stunned to see the woman standing before him.
This woman was none other than Damien Valerius's mother, Yvonne Vaughn.
Yvonne Vaughn had no time for pleasantries with Sean Carter; her thoughts were consumed by her son. "Sean Carter, tell me, how is Damien? How could he have been attacked by assassins out of nowhere? Who could be so evil as to want my son dead?"
Sean Carter was taken aback. "Madam, who told you the Boss was attacked by assassins?"
'The Boss specifically ordered me not to tell Madam about this. I only mentioned it to Miss Jacobs last night because I was curious about the virus in his system. But Miss Jacobs knows the gravity of the situation; she shouldn't have told her.'
