The Bishop was clearly eager to find the assassin who had dared to challenge the authority of the Holy See. However, after carefully probing them, he found only a jumble of auras. Most of them exuded the exhaustion and weakness of commoners who had traveled a great distance; he couldn't detect the sharp presence characteristic of a High Tier Knight.
