Nancy yelled into the phone, her voice laced with annoyance. Without giving her mom a chance to get another word in, she hung up.
'This is unbelievable. Why does she keep forcing me to go out for coffee and meals with men I don't even know?'

Ethan Shaw chuckled as he watched Nancy, giving her a teasing thumbs-up. "You've got quite a temper for a kid. Aren't you afraid your mom will actually freeze your bank card?"
"You think I'm that stupid? I already took all my money out. Even if I do run away from home, I have enough to last me for a good while."
