"Dr. Shaw, this is Dylan Zane. My son has been kidnapped by Yvonne Sloan. She just called and told me to bring your wife to see her, but I promise, Mrs. Shaw will be safe and sound."
Initially, Dylan Zane had planned to take Laura Lowell first and then deal with Aiden Shaw afterward—asking for forgiveness rather than permission. But Laura was surrounded by so many bodyguards that his men never stood a chance.
"Are you kidding me? Why on earth would I let my wife walk into danger to help you save your son?"
Aiden Shaw couldn't believe Yvonne Sloan still had the audacity to stir up trouble. But no matter what, he would never allow Laura to face even the slightest risk.
Laura turned to look at Aiden. She didn't know who was on the phone, but she couldn't help but worry. From the sound of it, someone was in danger.
