Standing at the door, Chloe Moss felt a pang of discomfort watching her fiancé embrace another woman. But she could also see that Hannah Hale was clearly resisting. Besides, Hannah had been calling him Mr. Keating the entire time, which meant they probably weren't close.
Stepping out of the elevator, Morgan Joyce glanced at Chloe Moss standing by the office door. Through the slightly ajar door, he could faintly hear the girl's anxious voice.
Morgan's brow furrowed. He shoved the door open and rushed in. The moment he saw a strange man holding Hannah, he lashed out with a kick.
"Hannah, are you alright?"
Slightly breathless, Hannah Hale shook her head. She had just used all her strength but couldn't push Kyle Keating away. "Thank God you're here. I'm fine."
Chloe Moss, who had run in right behind him, rushed to steady Kyle Keating. "Are you all right? Did he hit your wound?"
