"Dad, do you want to go see your room?" Gu Jiaojiao knew exactly what he was thinking when he asked.
"Hehe, Jiaojiao, do you think I could take your mom to see our new courtyard later?" Mr. Gu asked, choosing his words carefully.
"Of course. Eldest Brother Gu can go with you. Gao Xiangming has a car, so it'll be very convenient."
Gu Jiaojiao admired men like her father who doted on their wives. Besides, they had already agreed when they bought the courtyard that it was a joint purchase between their two families.
Mr. Gu had every right to take his wife and son to see their house. They were just catching a ride, after all.
Gu Jiaojiao had no reason to be unhappy about it. However, she wasn't planning on moving into the new house just yet. After the summer vacation, she would be leaving for university in the Imperial City.
