He turned around and looked at Xu Wuyi, a smile appearing on his face. "Wuyi, the Battle Group will calculate your compensation for these past two days separately. Even though we didn't manage to kill that Great Commander, everyone felt much safer with you holding the line here."
Xu Wuyi shook his head. "No need. Just stick to our prior agreement."
Qiao Tongyu smiled and didn't insist. The group packed up their equipment and withdrew to the camp.
That afternoon, the members of the Battle Group began to inventory their recent harvests, while Xu Wuyi returned to his tent to rest.
The next morning, they set out again, heading for the next Rift.
