A bone-chilling wind whipped into the train car as it sped down the tracks, sending the passengers near the door stumbling.
Loose belongings were swept up by the wind, smacking against the car's walls with loud bangs.
"It's freezing! You kicked the door open! What are we supposed to do now?"
"If my baby catches a cold from this, I'll have your heads! Have you no sense of decency?"
Immediately, people began to clamor in protest.
The pair frowned, too bothered to listen to the passengers' complaints. Grabbing the top of the doorframe, they vaulted onto the roof of the train.
"Hey, you can't just leave us here!"
"Have you no conscience?"
"You can't go!"
Seeing the pair leave, several passengers started shouting in panic.
But the two had already left the car. How could they possibly hear anything over the piercing wind? Even if they could, they likely wouldn't have bothered to listen.
