"Some other time?" Mika Summers had been better off not saying anything. Her words pushed Tristan Grayson's fury to its absolute peak. "Aiden Avery, are you leaving or not?!"
Aiden Avery continued to treat Tristan Grayson like he was thin air. With a gentle smile, he reached out and ruffled Mika Summers's hair. "Mm, okay. I'll come see you again tomorrow, then."
"Mm," Mika Summers dodged his hand awkwardly and nodded.
This scene provoked Tristan Grayson once again. He practically roared through gritted teeth, "Aiden Avery! I'm giving you three seconds to disappear from my sight!"
However, Aiden Avery paid Tristan Grayson's harsh threat no mind. Before leaving, he even made a point of telling Mika Summers not to tire herself out, not to get out of bed, and to call him anytime she wanted something to eat or drink.
Tristan Grayson had already kicked the hospital bed twice, but this Aiden Avery still didn't have the sense to leave, going on and on with his instructions.
