No one had discovered she was missing.
The one person who might have, Cassian Jennings, seemed to have forgotten all about her. He was currently taking care of Gia Miller, who was pretending to be unconscious.
Lightning flashed outside. Cassian Jennings looked up with a frown, then got up to close the window and draw the curtains.
He turned to glance at the woman lying on the bed before leaving and closing the door behind him.
A vague sense of unease crept into Cassian Jennings's heart. He picked up his phone, wanting to call the woman and ask where she was, but when he opened his contacts, he realized he didn't even know which number was hers...
