Just as Mika Summers was about to say something else, someone suddenly tapped her on the shoulder. "Excuse me, are you Miss Summers?"
"Yes, I am." Mika Summers furrowed her brow and turned to look at the waitress.
"Miss Summers, there's a Miss Wang outside the hotel who wants to see you."
"A Miss Wang?"
"Yes, she said she's a good friend of yours."
Hearing the waitress's words, something suddenly occurred to Mika Summers. "Alright, I understand."
The waitress nodded. "Well, I'll get back to my duties, then. I won't disturb you any longer, Miss Summers."
"Mm."
As she watched the waitress walk away, Mika Summers's thoughts were still elsewhere.
Chelsea York had been in the middle of an enthusiastic story, and being interrupted by this little episode clearly left her displeased.
When Mika Summers came back to her senses, she glanced at Chelsea York and gave her a slightly apologetic smile. "I'm sorry, a friend is here to see me. I'll have to excuse myself."
