The car behind them also screeched to a halt.
From the driver's seat, Li Dawei exclaimed, "Brother Lang, I think there's someone lying on the road up ahead."
Bathed in the glow of the streetlights, He Lang could see that there was indeed a person lying on the road, their back turned to them.
