The day after he deleted the comments, Mortimer Quincy suddenly texted Holly Winslow to say he was going to the hospital to see Andre Quincy. Holly was explaining a problem to Chloe Hollis when her phone lit up, and she instinctively glanced over.
She then said a word to Chloe Hollis, quickly stepped outside, and returned his call. "What's wrong with Dad? Is he sick?"
"Yeah, I'm going to check on him first. Head back to campus after you're done with your tutoring session, and call me if anything comes up." Mortimer Quincy didn't sound well on the other end of the line; his voice was lower than usual.
'It was only after they got married that I learned Andre Quincy's health was poor. I never expected him to get sick this early.'
Having been with him for over a decade, Holly Winslow could immediately tell he was in a bad mood. She said softly, "Wait for me. I'll ask Ms. Zane for time off right now."
She paused for a moment. "Honey, don't worry. Dad will be okay."
