Ashley Bowen left the villa and hailed a cab. Once inside, she called Mary Preston.
"Mom."
"Shay, where did you and Yuri go last night? Why didn't you even call home?"
Hearing this, Ashley Bowen knew Yuri hadn't gone home. She froze for a moment, carefully choosing her words. "Oh, last night? We... had a candlelight dinner out, so we didn't make it back."
"I see. It's good for a young couple to do something romantic every once in a while. It strengthens your bond."
