Chapter 109 - Triaena and the Monkey King’s Intervention

Just as I was trying to press Cao Cao to retract his words, an oddly familiar presence washed over us from behind. Even Cao Cao looked startled.

Turning around, I saw red-tinged humanoid forms emerging from the ground around Issei, stepping forward with desperate, grasping hands, and uttering over and over a single word, as if possessed:

"Oppai… oppai… oppai…"

Yeah. That's horrifically wrong. Even if they were manipulated, coercing hundreds into something like this is criminal.

I made a mental note: once this is over, Issei should get some kind of punishment, maybe he can help with Dr. Azazel's post-battle experiments or something.

Meanwhile, the "oppai zombies", at least a thousand of them, as Cao Cao had dubbed, formed a circle, sinking back into the ground. A strange pink magic circle shimmered in the spot's center.

Naturally, I snapped photos of it from all angles with my phone. I intend to share references with Kuroka and Dr. Rossweisse later.

Then Issei took a deep breath and shouted skywards:

"Summon! OPPPAI!!"

It sounded idiotic… yet the magic circle flared, tearing open a hole in the sky. Within an instant, the barrier of Longinus's Absolute Mist Dimension, impervious even to Goku and the Five Dragon Kings, shattered, summoning someone.

"Huh? Whaaaat?!"

Descending slowly from above was President Rias, wearing only her underwear. Looks like she handled the terror attack in the Gremory territory after all.

"Issei!? Ikki too! So… are we in Kyoto? Were we summoned here? What the hell is happening?!"

She was clearly rattled. Did she not hear about everything leading up to this?

I asked her softly:

"President Rias… did Rossweisse-sensei send nothing in advance? He said he tried, but we didn't hear word, though we did learn about the Gremory-area attack…"

"N-no… I heard nothing."

"Then likely Rossweisse-sensei asked staff in Kuoh Town about your status and decided not to deploy you initially."

"So there's terrorism here in Kyoto as well?!"

"Yes, but we're near the endgame now. I'll email you the details afterward."

She asked why she'd been summoned.

Issei stepped forward with the brightest grin, exposed helmet and all, arms raised toward Rias's chest, which began shimmering…

"Please let me poke your boobs, President!"

I couldn't watch that any longer, so I stepped back. Moments later, Rias blinked out of sight, returned to wherever she'd come from.

I turned to Cao Cao.

"Arima Ikki. What was… that?"

"Some things in this world you're better off not understanding, Cao Cao."

No explanation could cover that.

Meanwhile, the barrier around Yasaka wavered. Saji, in his "Dragon-King" form, had pulled her free.

Issei now glowed radiantly as he unlocked three new forms in succession:

Welsh Blaster Bishop (Dragon-Fang Monk)

Welsh Sonic Boost Knight (Dragon-Star)

Welsh Dragonic Rook (Dragon-Tank)

He trapped Cao Cao with Tank-gauntlets and said:

"Haha! I can block your spear now, too! Be out of here, scumbag!"

He slammed Cao Cao into the ground, but after a moment's dust clearing, Cao Cao stood, twirling his lance and cracking his neck.

"Interesting… so you fight not with hollow precision like me or Vali or Ikki, but by channeling emotion directly into power. Dangerous, yes, but high-risk, high reward. No wonder you've grown so rapidly with such conviction and fortune on your side. You're like a true hero."

"I am the star of the hero-show. If I lose, the kids cry. I can't let that happen."

Cao Cao grinned. He and Ddraig called Issei's new stance an "Illegal Move" and "Triaena." Issei dubbed it:

"Red Dragon Emperor's Triple Illegal Move Triaina!"

Cao Cao analyzed:

"Georg's weakened, the Nine-Tailed aura isn't resonating across dimensions… but, wait, something's coming. That Red Dragon Emperor signal must've attracted attention. Georg! I'll go Balance Breaker, aiding you while preparing the 'Dragon-Eater'!"

Before he could finish, Cao Cao looked skyward.

Something green, an oriental dragon, pierced the air, carrying a boy, small as a first-grader, on its head.

The boy called lightly:

"Hou!"

He landed near Issei and I.

"Long time no see, boy with the Holy Lance. Seems my prank got out of hand."

Another voice, a cyber-shades-wearing elder smoking a pipe, answered:

"You Kaibutsu-sho Butsu? And Miss Chibas the Seadragon? Two members from Journey to the West showing up here, I never expected that."

They came for negotiations… but suddenly we got kidnapped.

The elder puffed smoke and nodded at me and Issei.

Issei said:

"Hey Ikki. Is that grandpa the awesome help Azazel-sensei mentioned?"

Me: "You heard his name, Kaibutsu-sho Butsu. That's Sun Wukong, the original Monkey King. He's a legendary, try asking for his autograph."

"N-no way! Too powerful!"

Sun Wukong glared at us:

"You lot, huh? Took whatever's flowing from the Nine-Tailed's aura. That kid, your lance-boy, is the Nine-Tailed's fiancé, right? His ki's untainted, flows even in me... But boy, you never showed your true power, did ya?"

Georg, breathing heavily in the distance under his mist shield, teleported by Cao Cao's side.

Cao Cao had a sharp sigh:

"Honestly… now I'm not even sure if your group did summon the Great Red? Our planning's ruined, no data gathered, our officers are downed, total defeat."

Sun Wukong laughed:

"Failure paves the way to success. You still have your numbers, never give up, find another path. Humanity's strength lies in perseverance."

A thick mist enveloped the field, hiding even fallen heroes like Heracles.

"Alright, boys, I'll see you later. When we meet again, I'll show you the true power of the Spear."

As he spoke, the mist vanished, and only a small lingering cloud remained.

Then… thwack!

Before it dissipated fully, Sun Wukong's staff cracked into it, the last fragile portal, sending a resonant scream: "Ughhh!!"

Cao Cao's yelp echoed, it had to have hurt deeply.

Wukong chuckled:

"Couldn't just walk away. He'll be sore for three days."

End of battle.

=====================

Later, we gathered near Yasaka.

"Mother! Mother! It's Kunou!"

She was still dazed from the mind-wash.

Sun Wukong offered softly as he puffed his pipe:

"The princess resists inside, just a bit of dragon‐ki activation should purge her."

He motioned to the young boy, a smaller dragon king named Yu-Long, who reluctantly poured his dragon aura into Yasaka.

With her mind cleared and vigor returned, she resumed human form and embraced Kunou.

"Mother!"she wept.

"My dear child, you're still so emotional," Yasaka smiled.

She seemed unaware of what happened but sensed something. She looked at Wukong:

"The summit you missed the meeting, yet you showed up to rescue us, thank you."

He gruffed:

"Naw. By the time I arrived, it was nearly done. Your fiancé has fine companions, tell them thanks."

"Yes… I'm honored to have endorsed Ikki as Kunou's betrothed."

"Indeed! Today I saw Ikki's battle in action. Remarkable."

Kunou beamed.

"Let's hear that later. Thank you, Ikki."

"Thank you, Kunou and everyone."

Kyoto's crisis finally ended.

Well, Wukong slumped, exhausted, and got a hard staff-whoa from his own staff as he tottered off. Worth it, I think?

=====================

The morning after, tired but satisfied, we explored Kyoto Tower: buying souvenirs, enjoying views, and posing with "Tawawa-chan," the mascot.

Tawawa-chan surprised everyone with Michael Jackson-style break dancing, and yes, the crowd loved it, though was it that character?

Azazel‑sensei and Dr. Rossweisse joined us, taking attendance and wrapping up cleanup.

"Done with the terror fallout?" I asked.

"Yes, this area's under Yasaka, so we just issued basic instructions," Rossweisse replied, reverting to chaperone mode. "Follow‑up for Issei's fan‑harassment is mostly done, we traced residual 'oppai energy' and found no survivors unaccounted for."

Phew! That was a relief.

And Issei's magic circle photos are fascinating, based on Dragon Gate magic, but clearly something different. Azazel thinks remnants of the 'Breast‑Goddess' resonated with his newfound chest power… Magic mixing across worlds is compelling material."

"Really?! I just took them jokingly!"

"Also Dragon-Eater, the idea that Cao Cao might handle Great Red… they likely performed experiments mixing Dragon Slayer Gears. Maybe they forced people with hatred of dragons to go trigger Valit Balance Breakers."

I wanted to chime in: "Actually, Samiel might've been unsealed by Hades, but that's a horror for another briefing."

Azazel sighed deeply.

"Ikki, leave this to me. I'll discuss it with Seraphix and Michael. We need intel work. That branch's always hot with shady moves."

I thought, Sorry for the stress, but it's not my fault, Hades initiated this!

"Hey Ikki! Time to meet at the station!" Issei's call broke the mood. I zipped off after joking to Azazel, patting my stomach (stress relief!).

Rias and Kunou walked us to the station:

"Your help saved the day. We'll tighten the edge‑force cooperation between the Three Factions and keep Kyoto guarded."

"Leave it to me," Rias beamed. "We'll build defenses so bad guys don't even try here again."

I guessed that might include lethal traps to prevent recurrence.

Then Kunou tugged my sleeve.

"May I say something?"

She flew up, hugged my neck, and lightly kissed my cheek! She quickly hid behind her mother and whispered:

"Cheeks are still embarrassing... but, Ikki, please take care back home!"

I laughed, Kyoto's practically a second home now.

"Yasaka-san, Kunou, I'm off!"

And so our final school trip ended.

=====================

Later, back at the train, Matsuda and Motohama, driven by jealousy and sparked with aura, pummeled Izuna with punches:

"Ikki, we saw that window peck on the cheek! You pervert!!"

"And who's that busty blonde!? Is she Kunou's mom!? You're making a move on sisters and mothers now!?"

Barely conscious, I replied:

"I have no clue!"

…Turns out our pervy three idiots gained some combat instincts of their own this trip.
