Prologue
"Beg me vanya,beg me to ruin you,you pathetic little thing"he held my hair in a tight fist as I struggled to free myself
"No no no,let me go,please youre hurting me"i cried out in pain as i felt as if my hair was being uprooted
"I own you vanya,stop fighting it,you can't run from me,sooner than later you'll give in"he said with a wicked sinister voice as he tossed me on the bed forcefully,my body landing on the soft mattress harshy
"Let me go!!! You kidnapped me,why??!!,all because you can't bear the fact that I don't want you??all because I have a choice and choose to stand by it and I refuse to be submissive to a man!!"I yelled angrily as tears ran down my eyes
"Women aren't meant to have a voice,you're meant to be quiet and be under men,I own you vanya, and oh do i love that fire in your eyes,I badly want to quench it"he said with a calculation coldness that makes me fear his every wword
"If you think you can break me think again,Im not that easy to break"i said fiercely as I folded my hands In a fist,he smirked again,this time it grew
"We shall see,mess up,any single mistake you make,little Grace loses a finger"he threatened and my breath hitched
"Don't you dare touch her!!!"i screamed
He chuckled.
Darkly.
"Now tell me why shouldn't I"he said firmly as he looked at me with predacious eyes
"You monster,she's just a kid"i cried out as my heart ached
"Now I wouldn't be a monster if I don't hurt the innocent,yes"he chuckled darkly and it sent shivers soaring down my spine
"Where's she"i demanded as i tried wiping my uncontrollable tears
"How you behave determines if youll get to see her"his words shattered me as my tears grew hotter
"Please she's just a child,she's scared,I can feel it"I pleaded desperately and i could see the sick twisted satisfaction in his dead blue eyes
"Please me baby,behave well,pleasure daddy and I might let you see her" he said as he lit up a cigarette
"You sick bastard"I said in total disgust
"Get on your knees vanya,show daddy what else those pretty lips could do"
Chapter 1(one)
"Vanya please can you take over for a while,i need to speak to jimmy,he's not been doing well"Jamie pleaded as she stepped away from the reception
"How's the kid"i asked in concern
"The surgery....it's so expensive,I fear that he might not make it"tears welled up in her eyes as she talked
"Hey hey don't cry,you're trying your best and you're a great mom,don't give up okay"I hugged her and she gave me a warm smile a Thsnk you.
Feeling extremely exhausted after finishing up from the hotel I rushed home
"Hey sis"Grace greeted with her eyes still glued on her phone
"We've talked about this grace,you're always on that danm phone so danm much"i said in frustration
"Im bored and I have no friends"she said with a frown,the last thing I want to deal with right now is her so I just sigh and went to my room.
Our parent died just 2 years after Grace was born,we have no one and hell no was i letting foster care separate me from her,so I did everything I could to take care of her,of us and it has never been easy
"Vanya!vanya!!,drey is here"i sigh in relief as i rushed downstairs into the arm of my boyfriend,we've been together for 3 years and he's been extremely supportive,emotionally,I guess....
"Hey baby"he captured my lips in a kiss
"Ewww,get a room"grace said as she rolled her eyes and walked out
"I still doubt that she's just 6"he furrowed his brow as he watched her walked away while complaining about us
"Me too"i said and we both laughed
"So hey,I was wondering if you'd want to come over this weekend"he asked hopefully
"I can't,grace babysitter won't be in town and I don't trust her with anyone else or with herself"i said with plead full eyes
"We hardly hang out man"he said in frustration
"I need to work hard and you know,please don't make things harder for me than they already are"I pleaded
"Yeah whatever Im leaving"he said in frustration as he stormed out leaving me to my own thoughts
I love drey but I have a lot going on,I'll soon need to pay Grace school fees and she goes to this really expensive school that have always dreamt of,since i couldn't go I made sure Grace did.
And I'll do whatever it takes to make sure we both survive,no matter what
