getting downstairs Elanore saw plenty of crazy weapons. Giant claymores, bows daggers. But only one was the weapon she was going for. 'Bring me the swords baby!!'
Plenty of swords were on display, with runes engraved on them, indicating that they either could be infused with elements, if they had mana stones in them,or other kinds of effects.
As Elanore was walking through and looking at her options, she was rubbing her hands together, a smile knelt up her face.
Further away, Katrina was next to Annie, looking at what kind of sword Ellie would pick.
"I never knew she was the type to go crazy for things like this." Annie said, leaning on a display glass.
Katrina shrugged. "Me neither. Now that I get to spend a little more time with her I'll be glad to show her around, find out things I didn't know about my own sister."
Annie: "Don't beat yourself up about it. She's here now so don't let your dumb decisions of your past muddle your present. After you get her weapon, do you have any plans?"
"I'll probably take her to watch a joust. Unwind and watch people try to impale each other."
Annie smiled. "Well that sounds like a good time." Just then Elanore showed up in front of them with a sword. It was relatively average, just having the ability to infuse mana into it.
Annie was in shock. Nothing on the display cases looked touched. "Where did you find this?"
"It was just in the corner. I probably can't use the others yet without more experience, so I didn't bother." Annie just closed her eyes and sighed.
"Keep it, it's on the house. My dad would probably be embarrassed to find we sold a sword like that anyway."
A giant smile crept up Elanors face. Back in her world, she felt her heart shatter when she had to spend money on anything over her vast budget of 5 dollars. This was an excellent deal for a cheapskate like her.
"Thank you so much!"
Before elanore could run to give Annie a hug, she was quickly pulled back by Katrina.
"Thanks for the gift, We'll certainly be back.
Goodbye for now."
Nearing the jousting tournament, Elanore looked to Katrina. "I don't really have anyone in mind. Is their anyone famous here you might like?"
Kartrina shrugged. "Just a bunch of boys eager to throw their weight around. It is fun to watch, but I have no favorites."
"Anything entertaining enough has people that are good at them. You'll definitely find somebody you like."
"If you say so." Katrina said, rolling her eyes.
—
Inside the arena, Elanore was in a spectator seat. Katrina had talked to the one hosting the event and had spent a little extra coin because she came in just as things were starting.
On two ends of the rail stationed in the center of the arena, plenty of men from noble birth could be seen.
One of them stood out among the rest. Not only was he pretty, but his hair grew out a bit. His caramel skin and gorgeous yellow platemail armor stood out.
His caramel skin was certainly quite a feast for the eyes, at least Katrina seemed to think so.
Elenore tried not to comment, but it was hilariously obvious as her eyes did not wander.
Neither did his. He would occasionally be checking his weapons before hopping on top of his steed. It was an all black stallion, with a coat of fur the resembled the void itself. It looked beautiful.
"Alright, enough." After finally pulling her gaze away from his horse, Elanore had come to the conclusion that This man had some sort of enchantment on his armor and she was going to have to shake her sister out of it.
Grabbing Katrina by her shoulder, Elanore pulled her back into the seat next to her.
"Please stop looking creepy. Your forgetting your right next to me."
Katrina sighed but before anything else could be said, an announcement came up. A man just in front of the hosts of the Event did a cutting motion, and the first joust was set to begin just like that.
