Damon held her close, pressing kisses to her hair. "I'm starting to understand something."
"What's that?"
"That letting someone else be in control isn't about weakness. It's about trust. It's about being willing to be vulnerable with someone you know will take care of you."
Eve lifted her head to look at him. "That's exactly right. And you're getting better at it."

As evening approached, Eve wanted something different.
She positioned herself on her back and pulled Damon on top of her, but instead of letting him set the pace, she gripped his hips firmly.
"You're going to move exactly as I tell you," she said. "Slow when I say slow. Fast when I say fast. Stopped when I say stop. Understood?"
"Understood," Damon said.
He pushed inside her carefully, and Eve immediately started giving directions.
"Slow," she said. "Deep. I want to feel every inch of you."
