Yuan groans dramatically throwing a pillow at Lana,
Yuan : I don't get paid enough for keeping up with her
Evan Snickers catching the pillow before it hit Lana,
Evan : and what do you need payment for Yuan? For hanging out with us?
Yuan scoffs dramatically while giving a glare to Evan,
Yuan : For babysitting you two ofcourse
Lana : Last time I checked it was Evan who did the babysitting
Yuan : Hey I am the most mature one here!
Lana points at the goldfish,
Lana : You are as mature as your cousin over there
Yuan clearly offended looks at the two but then his eyes land on Evan who is snickering beside Lana and his lips curl into a mischievous grin,
Yuan : Ahem ain't you enjoying a bit too much taking sides Evan?
Lana's eyes notices the sudden mischievous grin at Yuan's face and she turns to look at Evan who has stopped snickering and pretends to clear his throat, a total change in his demeanor,
Evan : I never changed my sides you see
Lana : Hey you two started with the "guys talk again?!" why can't I be included in this talk? I wanna know too
Yuan chuckles as Lana frowns looking between the two he gets up a sly smile curling on his face as he leaves for the kitchen numbering on his way loud enough for the two to hear,
Yuan : Gotta prepare dinner you see, goodluck explaining her Evan
Evan totally bemused at the sudden spotlight on him as his eyes meets Lana's his ears change shades, his hand rubbing the back of his neck trying to come up with words,
Evan : it's not like we wanna exclude you Lana, it's just something's…well you see is easier to talk between us two we ain't sure how to bring it to you..
Lana : Everytime you two have this guys talk, Yuan will be grinning while you are blushing
She points at Evan's ear which has changed shades, Evan quickly looks away at the fish tank, looking at it as if it's the most interesting thing in the world
Lana notices the change in Evan's demeanor,
Lana : Ahh you found a girl too like Yuan didn't you?!
Evan's eyes widen at the sudden word his gaze softens as he looks at her,
Evan : It's not about finding a girl Lana.. It's more about noticing the one who was always there
Yuan yelling from the kitchen making it pretty obvious,
Yuan : Ooh the butter is smooth!
Evan rolls his eyes muttering underneath his breath
Evan : He sure makes his presence known
Lana's expression changes at the sudden declaration her eyes turn towards the fish tank where Evan was looking at before,
Lana : What even is interesting in this fish tank that you were looking at with such interest?
Evan : Well it's not the fish tank that's interesting
Lana looks back at Evan frowning,
Lana : Oh yeah then the girl might be , you ain't even telling me who this girl is
At first Evan is confused by the sudden frowning of Lana but then it hit him , that's how she acts when she is jealous he leans back on the couch smiling as he looks at her with the softest gaze,
Evan : You didn't used to mind the guys talks before
Lana : Well now i do as you can see pretty clearly
Evan chuckles then gently brushes her hand subtly,
Evan : What if I told you… the girl isn't someone new? That she's been sitting right in front of me all this time—always making faces, glaring at me, teasing me, and somehow still making me want to stay by her side.
Lana turns her head to face Evan her eyes finally following his gaze looking at her with such softness it then finally hit her…she could feel the heat rise up to her face but Yuan's voice cuts in suddenly,
Yuan : Who ate my chocolate chips??
Lana quickly gets up and facing Yuan who has just walked out of the kitchen with a bag of empty chocolate chips in his hand,
Lana : Maybe you ate it
He was about to protest when he notices Lana's red cheeks and stops mid way then glances at Evan,
Yuan : Wait a min what did I miss??
Lana quickly turns towards the fish shuffling through the things to find the fish food and trying to feed the fish while trying to steady herself shaky hands, Evan noticing it walks beside her and steadies her hand helping her feed the fish The subtle touch making Lana only blush harder this side of Evan sure was making her go crazy,
Evan : Don't worry i got you and i didn't mean to scare you
Yuan : Hey..are you two telling sweet little things to my cousin out there while leaving me in the dark
Evan turns towards Yuan and gives a glance,
Evan : Why would we? That's your cousin you shall do that
Yuan : Come on dude don't act now , I can clearly see Lana's face turning into a tomato
Lana : Hey it can be allergy you know!
Yuan : Allergy from…fish food?
He then glances at Evan who was smiling at the side,
Yuan : Or Evan's face?
Lana : You know what?? Am going to my room cause all you guys gonna do is tease me
And with that Lana stomped through her way to her room leaving the two of them to figure out what to do next…
