After every student got an ability , the time passed quickly during the week students were at home , they tried their new powers for some the process went very smoothly and others either asked their elder siblings or their parents for guidance.
Some even watched internet videos on how to manifest mana in real powers and overall everyone learned the basics of using powers.
Every student of class 10A was excited and looked forward to the upcoming Monday as they will get to know more about their own abilities and watch other using theirs .
Monday arrived quickly and everyone was excited for the upcoming adventure they were to experience.
One of the student was Artic , he had gotten a totally defensive power and on top of that he had to do nothing when activating his powers , he ability let him have a invisible wall around him and unless he wanted nobody could break it , obviously as his level was currently low and he had gotten the power very recently, high rankers could easily break the invisible wall .
Artic just like any other students was excited for the day and currently walked towards his class , unlike many others students who lived in dormitories Artic house was nearby so he didn't and preferred to live in his house .
SEED was the biggest academic institution of Velmora therefore the area it covered was huge , the academy included multiple buildings including training facilities, dormitories for staff , students and even teachers , normal classes , multiple playground, multiple cafeterias even some shopping centers and a lot more . A total of ten thousand acres was covered by SEED academy.
After walking for nearly ten minutes Artic finally found his class's buildings, in this building there were a total of three floors each with 5 rooms , the ground floor was solely for the staff while the first floor was for class 10 and there were a total of five rooms for each section , 10A, 10B , 10C , 10D and 10E .
While the topmost second floor consisted of two training facilities and three labs .
Artic was in section A , he went up the stairs and walked into his classroom,he found that there was no one he was first one to arrive, Artic sat in his seat opened his bag and took out his phone and started playing a game while waiting for his friends .
Slowly all the students came and sat in their respective seats some studied ,while most talked about their powers .
Suddenly a chime echoed through the hall , marking the start of the class , hearing the chime all those who were standing or talking hurried to their seats and the class became a lot quieter.
Shortly after Principal Aric entered the classroom
"Soo guys did you use your powers"
In a sync everyone replied excitedly
"Yess sirr we did"
Principal Aric: "Haha great great now today you guys will get a Interface Watch that directly links with their body , the watch will display vital stats and those who prefer visual access could connect the watch to smart glasses or optic lenses"
As everyone heard this they all understood now why a lot of heroes wore glasses and watches they previously thought it was becuse of style but no it was more than that.
Principal Aric: "Also you guys will get a ranking today based on your stats and your how much your power has synchronized with your body and mind"
Serena: " Sir what's the point of these rankings will we get a reward or something "
Principal Aric : "Yes my koalas every six months the top ten will get a reward and the top three will even get a skill book also these ranking are not permanent and can always change automatically based on your stats increase "
Serena: rewards what rewards sir
Principal Aric: as I said skill books , armour or weapons compatible to your abilities etc
A wave of excitement swept through the class ,
Suddenly two people entered the classroom carrying a big box , after talking to the Principal and getting his approval they handed everyone a digital glass watch , it was transparent and it was the Interface watch .
As students tapped the transparent screen , light slowly spread the glass , faint symbols in glowing blue started emerging layer by layer.
Finally the watched emitted a soft pulse , confirming the full synchronization with the user's body .
Principal Aric: "Now even if you remove the watch your connection will remain intact and cannot be disconnected unless you delete it yourself "
Adrian who was sitting on the last bench tapped his watch twice and a glowing hologram screen appeared in which his stats were written .

As Principal Aric said this he turned on the smart board on and connected it to his phone , he then opened an app in which there was a table with five names and ranks ,

Seeing the ranks a murmur spread through the class , some students stared in disbelief others clenched their fists .
Vorian's name sat at Rank five , he didn't know whether to feel relieved or disappointed .
At the top of the list was Adrian Senn , there was no pride in his face ,for him being first meant a little when ranking itself was E .
A few students turned towards Adrian and stared him with envy that was clearly expressed on their faces .
Principal Aric:"Don't worry guys these rankings are not permanent"
One of the student asked "Sir what prize will they get, also didn't you said that top ten will get a reward now how come you are showing us only top five"
Principal Aric:"Haha yes my cute little kittens I said that the top ten will get a prize but not now , in the next six months the academy will hold a tournament that will be different for all classes but not sections so you have to compete with 10B , 10C , 10D and 10E , and then the top ten performers from all the section combined will get a prize"
Serena "So top ten from all sections combined and not only in the class"
