Chapter 14 -  Chapter 14 Hun Feng Demands The Ying Eating Fruit

When Hun Changqing arrived, he hadn't gone far. After flying for a short while, he sensed something amiss in the place he had just left, and immediately turned back.

He guessed that one of his clan disciples had noticed the battle and come to investigate.

Having just tasted the sweetness of killing and looting, Hun Changqing certainly wouldn't let go of this windfall, so he immediately turned back.

Upon arriving at the scene, he noticed something was wrong and immediately concealed himself, hiding not far away.

He saw Hun Feng and Hun Yu, and Hun Changqing also witnessed Hun Feng muttering about Hun Changqing in front of the bloodstains.

Hun Changqing narrowed his eyes, thinking to himself,

"These two clever fools are probably eyeing me. And with the Yin-Eroding Fruit, they think I'm easy to bully? Tsk, fine. If it weren't for the imminent departure from the clan, and the need to avoid conflict with you two idiots and attract attention, I would definitely teach you a lesson. Hmph, my current points are enough for me to secure a top-ten ranking. I'll hide from you for now, and I'll use you as my starting point when I return."

Hun Changqing snorted coldly and slowly retreated. Once he was out of their perception range, he soared into the sky and disappeared into the distance.

Three more days passed, and it was now the seventh day since the secret realm opened. The seventh day was the day the spatial rift would reopen for their return.

The spatial rift would open in the center of this small world, lasting for one day. This small world wasn't very large; a Dou Wang with Dou Qi Wings could reach the center of this space from anywhere within a few hours, and a Dou Ling traveling at full speed would only need one day.

Therefore, it was unlikely that anyone would be stranded in the small world because they missed the opening of the spatial rift.

Of course, there were always exceptions; some people might get entangled and unable to escape, thus missing the spatial rift.

In general, in such situations, the Dou Sheng elders wouldn't care whether you live or die, leaving you to fend for yourself.

Unless you have a powerful backer who can find the master of the small world to request its opening, the fate of those stranded in this small world is predictable.

Today is the seventh day, and the spatial rift is about to open in the center of the small world. At the center of the small world is a plaza, where many clansmen and disciples have already arrived.

Each one exudes a chilling killing intent and extraordinary aura, showing that these clansmen have not only become stronger after these days of slaughter, but their temperament has also become more resilient and decisive in killing.

Hun Changqing also arrived at this plaza at this time. Looking at the clansmen who have undergone considerable transformations, Hun Changqing sighed that the Hun clan's method of cultivating strong individuals is indeed very effective.

Hun Changqing went to an open space next to the plaza and sat cross-legged. Here, he didn't need to worry about Hun Feng and Hun Yu coming to cause him trouble.

Fighting is prohibited in this plaza because it is now the end of the secret realm trial, and most of the clansmen are here. If one person starts a fight, it could incite others and eventually escalate into a large-scale brawl, which would be a serious matter.

Hun Changqing had barely sat down when he saw Hun Feng and Hun Yu approaching. Realizing he couldn't avoid them, he stood up, offering a friendly smile and greeting them.

"I sensed someone locking onto my aura just now. I wondered who it was, but it's my two clan brothers, Hun Feng and Hun Yu. May I ask what brings you here?"

Hun Feng and Hun Yu, glaring at Hun Changqing's hateful face—a face that had ruined their youth—both wanted nothing more than to punch him in the face.

Suppressing the urge to smash him, Hun Feng spoke irritably,

"Hun Changqing, you must have found a Yin-Eating Fruit a few days ago, right? I have a great use for it. Hand it over, and I'll exchange it for equal resources."

Hun Feng didn't forcefully demand the Yin-Eating Fruit from Hun Changqing; he had already envisioned himself as the future leader of the Hun Clan.

Hun Changqing will be his subordinate in the future, and although the Yin-Eating Fruit is hard to find, its rarity level is not very high. If it were a resource of the same level, Hun Feng could easily find a lot of it. He wouldn't risk incurring Hun Changqing's resentment and future disloyalty just to forcibly demand these resources; that would be a net loss

Hun Yu, standing nearby, was startled by Hun Feng's words. He knew exactly what the Yin-Eating Fruit was for; he had previously taken all the Yin-Eating Fruits from the clan, tricking Hun Feng. He hadn't expected Hun Changqing to still possess one.

When they arrived at the battlefield, Hun Yu hadn't thoroughly investigated, only noticing Hun Feng wandering around muttering something.

He had initially thought Hun Feng had lost his mind and was even somewhat pleased—if Hun Feng were insane, the position of young clan leader would be his.

The fact that there were clues to the Yin-Eating Fruit on that battlefield annoyed Hun Yu. How could Hun Feng be so lucky to find it here?

However, Hun Yu couldn't say anything now. After all, he had already tricked Hun Feng within the clan; if he interfered with Hun Feng obtaining the Yin-Eating Fruit, Hun Feng would definitely break off all ties with him.

Keep in mind that he's still only a ninth-grade bloodline, while Hun Feng upgraded to a tenth-grade bloodline a year ago, and is even a minor realm higher than him.

They only exchanged a few blows before, without really using their full power. If it were a real fight, Hun Feng would absolutely crush him.

At this moment, Hun Yu could only hope that Hun Changqing would stand firm and not succumb to Hun Feng's tyranny.

Hearing Hun Feng's words, Hun Changqing scoffed inwardly, "So you're all that useful, but I'm useless?"

However, he didn't show anything on his face. Instead, he pretended to be puzzled and asked Hun Feng,

"Oh? The Yin-Eating Fruit? What do you mean by that, Clan Brother? I haven't obtained any Yin-Eating Fruit."

Upon hearing this, Hun Feng's face immediately turned ugly. He suppressed his anger and said in a gloomy tone,

"Three days ago, you had a conflict with someone. I could sense your aura and the Yin-Eating Fruit there. How do you explain that?"

Hun Changqing pretended to suddenly understand, slapped his head, and said,

"Oh~ so that's what you're talking about, Clan Brother. You don't know, Clan Brother. That day, two people were courting death, daring to ambush me with only the cultivation of a low-level Dou Huang.

I was furious! In my rage, I didn't hold back and directly turned them into ashes. Their storage rings were also destroyed.

Alas, Clan Brother, I'm really sorry. If I had known they had something you needed, I would have held back. Clan Brother, what do you think?"

Hun Changqing said apologetically to Hun Feng.

Hearing Hun Changqing's words, Hun Feng's face darkened to an extreme, almost black with malice.

He understood perfectly well what Hun Changqing meant: "I don't know, I didn't have it, don't ask me for it," and his words were perfectly plausible.

Whether Hun Feng believed him or not, he couldn't possibly demand to inspect Hun Changqing's storage ring. Therefore, Hun Feng knew he had no chance of obtaining the Yin-Eroding Fruit today; he truly had no way to deal with Hun Changqing now.

  "Hmph, you're very good!"

Seeing that things were hopeless, Hun Feng snorted coldly and stormed off.

Hun Yu, seeing Hun Feng's discomfiture, was secretly delighted, feeling quite pleased, and even found Hun Changqing somewhat more agreeable.
