Atlas, as if intrigued by the question, replied, "You were loyal to a fault, humble and righteous, and often saw yourself as a model Swordsman. I didn't think a millennium would change you a lot, and I don't care about your betrayal; I just want to forge the path forward, everything else is mundane in my eyes."
Valen's face darkened still afraid to approach his master further spoke with disdain, "I just wanted to be as strong as you, but you were always obsessed with finding the path past Godhood, leaving everyone to their devices with no semblance of order among acolytes, but today has finally arrived, oh Master, and I shall take your place, your sacrifice shall not be in vain". Atlas finally sighed, and closed his eyes," As today is the day of my eternal sleep, I shall go out like a Supreme and all divine beings shall remember this day". Valen panicked and threw the dagger at his master's chest, knowing that if he survived, even the Universal Laws would not save him.
As it hit his chest, Atlas' entire divinity crackled and surged out, merging with the knife's destructive power, hitting everyone within and outside the array. As everything cleared up, the weaker lesser gods and divine beasts lay dead, no one left unscathed, even the Seven higher gods bled, some losing their limbs while a few could not regenerate them due to the power of the dagger. Atlas was nowhere, his divinity and law essences erased.
The remaining beings looted the Atlas' hidden realm, the dead forgotten, and his acolyte sworsdman, Volen, took over as the new Supreme, failing to notice that far beneath his throne, in the prison that held Kaelvorn, was a husk of a majestic dark crimson dragon body, unresponsive as if dead.
