"Come out!! I know you're right there!!"
After Lyon and Sherry left, Jura shouted toward the trees behind him.
Rumble—!!
The earth suddenly began to swirl and flow like a liquid, causing any sense of balance to vanish.
Jura immediately stabilized himself, hardening the ground beneath his feet before flicking his finger.
Bam! Bam! Bam!
Several stone pillars erupted, driving toward Hoteye.
Hoteye raised a hand, and the stone pillars decomposed like running water, scattering around him.
"As expected of a Wizard Saint. Even after being swarmed by so many mages, you haven't taken a scratch. Even after a fight, your body still retains a massive amount of magic power."
"I'll ask again. My magic softens the earth, while yours hardens it. Which side do you think is superior?"
Jura's face remained firm as he spoke. "This has nothing to do with the quality of magic. Only those with strong convictions can claim victory."
"Dead wrong. In the end, victory always belongs to those with money."
"Open, Gate of the Scorpion! Scorpio!!"
Angel waved her hand, summoning the Scorpion Spirit. He was a cool guy with a hip-hop vibe, and his scorpion tail was essentially a cannon.
"We are the Oracion Seis!"
"Finish them off, Scorpio."
Scorpio dropped his hands to the ground, aiming his tail directly at the members of Blue Pegasus.
"Sandstorm!!"
Whoosh—!
A violent sand tornado erupted from his tail, surging toward the four members of Blue Pegasus.
"Agh!"
"Waaaa!"...
Their bodies were swept up by the sandstorm, sent spinning through the air.
Thud! Thud! Thud!
The group slammed into the ground. They were already badly injured, and now they lacked even the strength to stand.
"Ah-hahahaha! How boring. You were taken down so easily. Ah! Right, let me show you something interesting!"
Angel pulled out a key. "Open, Gate of the Ram! Aries!"
A timid, incredibly cute girl with sheep horns and a look that invoked pity was summoned forth.
"That's... Karen's Celestial Spirit... Why do you have control over Karen's spirit?!"
Hibiki, pinned to the ground, stared at Aries. He gritted his teeth, his body trembling uncontrollably. Karen had once been a member of Blue Pegasus and often summoned Aries in the guild; naturally, they all recognized her.
"Because I killed her. This was just one of the trophies I took back then."
Angel patted Aries on the head.
"Weren't you close to that woman? Then it should be highly entertaining to have her spirit be the one to kill you!!"
"Do it, Aries! Kill them!"
"Yes... understood..."
Deep within the Worth Woodsea.
"I found it!! Master Brain!! I've found 'Nirvana'!!"
A man shouted with excitement as he ran toward Brain.
Hearing this, a look of pure joy instantly crossed Brain's face.
"Where is it?! Take me there immediately!!"
"Yes, sir!"
The subordinate led Brain, sprinting quickly toward the location of 'Nirvana.'
A short while later, they arrived at a heavily concealed area where many people had already gathered. Before them stood a colossal tree, bound tightly by massive iron chains.
Brain stepped forward, trembling with excitement. He placed his palm gently against the tree, feeling the fluctuations of magic power radiating from it.
"Yes... no doubt! It's this! This is it!! 'Nirvana'! I've finally found it!!"
"Oooooh!!"
The Dark Guild members surrounding him let out a collective cheer at Brain's confirmation.
"What a piece of trash! Dragging your feet for this long and you still haven't finished these guys off!"
"I'm... I'm sorry..."
"Forget it, I'll handle this myself!"
Seeing that Aries hadn't managed to eliminate the group yet, Angel decided to step in personally.
Just then, Brain's voice echoed in Angel's mind.
"Angel, come to me. Nirvana has been found."
Angel's face immediately lit up with delight. The Oracion Seis had been searching for so long, and finally, it was theirs.
Angel glanced at the immobile members of Blue Pegasus on the ground. "Hmph. Consider yourselves lucky."
Angel turned and walked away.
Jura and Hoteye continued their duel. Their magics countered each other, and with both possessing immense magic power, neither could gain the upper hand.
"Hoteye, come to me. Nirvana has been found."
Brain's voice rang in Hoteye's mind as well.
Hoteye stopped his assault. "It seems this battle must end here for now."
Jura narrowed his eyes. "What do you mean?"
"Because of money! Something far more valuable has appeared!"
As Hoteye spoke, the earth beneath him surged like a wave, carrying him away at high speed.
"He ran away?"
The fight had ended without a clear victor, and the sudden retreat gave Jura a very bad feeling.
"Dammit! Why can't I hit this guy?!"
Natsu and Gray were attacking Cobra, only to be toyed with.
Cobra said smugly, "I told you. Because of my hearing magic, I can hear your hearts. I know your every move before you make it."
Erza frowned. "Hearing hearts... is it a telepathy magic similar to Warren's? If that's the case..."
"Requip: Heaven's Wheel Armor!!"
Erza requipped into her golden armor.
"Heaven's Wheel: Blumenblatt!"
A hail of swords shot toward Cobra, who dodged them with ease.
In the next instant, Erza appeared directly behind Cobra.
"What?!"
Cobra hadn't heard Erza's heart at all. How could she be here?
Slash!
Cobra frantically dodged, but his arm was still sliced open.
Erza looked at Cobra and said, "Since you can hear hearts, I just have to empty my mind and fight based on pure physical instinct."
Cobra's eyes narrowed, flickering with a dangerous light. The injury made him realize he couldn't underestimate this woman. Just as he was about to reveal his true power...
"Cobra, come to me. Nirvana has been found!"
Hearing Brain's voice in his head, a flash of excitement erupted in Cobra's eyes.
"I'll let you go this time! The next time we meet will be your funeral! Cubellios!"
Cobra shouted, and the purple snake's body grew massive, sprouting a pair of wings. Cobra stepped onto the snake's back, and the serpent carried him into the sky, flying into the distance.
"Don't get away!!"
Natsu immediately tried to give chase.
Erza held him back. "Hold on, Natsu. Be careful of an ambush!"
The group was already battered, and their stamina and magic were heavily depleted. Rushing in blindly would be disastrous if they walked into a trap.
Rumble—!!
At that moment, a massive pillar of magic light shot into the sky from within the endless forest.
Kael looked toward the pillar of light, his face calm. "So, they found it?"
