Blood of Kamio – Chapter 32
All teams entered the dungeon through the abyss.
The highest-ranked Kamiora teams also went inside.
Team 10's side:
Everyone was walking straight through the dark path.
Reimer said,
"What should we do now? How will we find the way out?"
Garo replied calmly,
"Just keep walking. We'll find it soon."
After walking for some time, they reached a place where the path split into three different routes. Everyone became confused about which path to choose.
Suddenly, Atomic spoke,
"Take the middle path."
Kazuma asked suspiciously,
"How are you so sure this is the right way?"
Atomic answered coldly,
"You don't need to understand. Just follow me."
Since no one knew which path was correct, everyone decided to follow Atomic.
As soon as they went through the middle path, several beasts suddenly attacked Team 10.
Everyone started fighting—except Atomic.
Atomic said in a calm, cold voice,
"Interesting… these are second-rank beasts."
Onoki asked,
"What do you mean by second rank?"
Atomic explained,
"There are fifteen ranks of beasts. Every beast has a rank. The lowest rank is Haiku. Haiku-rank beasts are very weak. But these ones are Kaiu—the second rank."
Everyone was impressed by Atomic's deep knowledge.
In the next moment, Atomic moved with incredible speed and sliced all the beasts within a second.
Everyone was shocked once again.
Suddenly, an abyss appeared in front of them.
Otsu asked,
"Is this the exit?"
Kazuma laughed,
"That was too easy."
Onoki said,
"Alright everyone, let's go."
Light Kamio Village side:
Reo said angrily,
"Why did you send them to that dungeon? It's extremely dangerous. There is an abyss there that leads to Dragon Land."
Dragon Land is a place filled with dangerous dragons.
If any Kamiora enters Dragon Land, returning alive is almost impossible. The dragons there are extremely powerful—so powerful that even a thousand Kamioras as strong as Kamioma would not be enough to return safely.
Kamioma replied calmly,
"Don't worry. I believe they will come back. The abyss only appears after the beasts are defeated."
Team 10's side:
Everyone slowly moved toward the abyss.
