The carriage had been travelling for some time but Asher could see that some kind of magic was being used since he could feel an immense outburst of mana. Though his expression was unreadable he could feel her gaze on him, he turned to see her looking at him with her penetrative gaze but unlike the cold heartless one he saw this one's were unreadable and emotionless,it was like she was a different person altogether. Regardless Asher stopped looking but she kept her gaze fixed on him. He was feeling uncomfortable but he dared not show it.
He looked out the window and what he saw left him shocked,the appearance was rather breathtakingly beautiful. The landscape was filled with blossoming cherry trees and herds of golden horned deers roamed the place. They seemed very happy and contented ,the trees were as huge a seven floor tall building and flowers of different colours bloomed, roses, daffodils, Lavender and more. He couldn't help but gawk at the natural beauty of the land,she noticed his expression and a smile painted her face.
"You know for a dork you can be pretty funny!"
Asher looked at the girl who was chuckling, it would have been sweet accept he wasn't there to make memories, while in his sea of thoughts the carriage came to a halt. The woman got out first followed by Asher. Infront of them was a massive Palace,Grand and beautiful besides it were little mansions,it didn't have to take a genius to know where Asher was, the young Lord had just arrived at the Mystic Deer sect,one of the most powerful sects in the continent. He couldn't believe it
The mansion was made of marble and white jade ,it had eight massive pillars made of white jade which had exquisite carvings of the Mystic Deer. The whole place was surrounded by a enchanted forest with blooming flowers , believe it or not the sect was on top of a mountain,it was then that he noticed the disciples who were either walking or conversing and others cruising on enchanted flying swords and a rainbow bridge made of pure mana sparkled underneath it was a wide Lake with the sky blue colour , colour flying fish swam jumping in and out of the water , Asher could sense immense mana coming deep from the lake,an aura of a king level beast. It was cool but there was one problem, everybody was female!. Mystic deer sect was known to be a top sect with only women.
"Hey crazy kid, move it!"
He turned to see his captors already halfway the stairs to the main doors of the Grand mansion, Asher followed suit not uttering a word , when they reached the top the guards moved aside and as if by cue the massive double door,red in colour with gold dragon carvings swung open , the duo entered inside and his first expression was ,wow!. The main court was absolutely beautiful and well furnished to the fullest with white marble walls lined with massive statues of famous heroes,it had a high ceiling which was tastefully painted and curved. An absurdly huge chandelier which had beautiful glowing blue lights. On the walls were beautiful engravings of mystical beasts, sceneries,weapons and more.
At the end was a massive and majestic throne made of white jade and plush purple velvet with comfy purple cushions, besides them on both sides were four lesser thrones, majestic but not as beautiful as the grand throne. The piercing gazes directed towards the duo could be enough to make one cower like a little scaredy cat but not his captor not him were at the slightest thought afraid at all. Her captor bowed down respectfully to the woman seated on the grand throne
"Lady Amelia I brought him just as you commandeth"
The woman being addressed shifted her gaze towards Asher who kept looking outside with an unreadable expression, unreadable as he was Amelia knew there was something different about him.
"You may rise Vermeil and well done"
"So your name is vermeil,kinda nice" he soliloqized
Vermeil stood up and bowed once more, Amelia's eyes then drifted to Asher.
"Lady Amelia isn't it? I have to ask why did you sent for me to be captured and brought here, regardless of knowing that I am an enemy?!!"
Asher said looking Amelia straight in the eyes, a devilish smile imprinted on his face
Instantly there was a commotion in the palace ,the elders were in pandemonium,what was this brat saying?! and what was he meaning. Amelia though being confronted she was still asleep cool as a cucumber. She then spoke,her voice full of authority but seemingly seductive
"I didn't know that the great white tiger sect had such fearless brats, but you are right,you are an enemy of this sect"
Asher's smile grew even more.
"I'll get to the point, Asher Raziel I wanna make you a proposition"
His eyebrows arched
"What kind of proportion?"
"I want you to bring me the blood berry from the niflehmir island"
As soon as she said that everyone was utterly shocked , the blood berry was a special type of berry which only bloomed after a hundred years and it had the power to skyrocket a cultivator's level from a QI condensation stage to a core formation stage , in short it boosts you to three levels ahead , however one had to had a high mana capicity so as to accumulate the new profound power and it was located in a place where A rank mercenaries and above could go, an island filled with beasts which passed the emperor level and not to mention that the island was filled with a tribe of ruthless man killing barbarians.
"Assuming I agree to your proposal,What's in it for me?"
"I know you have a fight with the upcoming heir of the stormblade sect and you are not even in shape yet I can help you with a casket of obsidian dragon pearls"
Asher was clearly taken back. Dragon pearls were absolutely rare mana enhancing pills , just one of them was capable of boosting a cultivator's mana capacity by thousands, which is really effective and obsidians were very rare and expensive.
" So what do you say Raziel?"
" I will agree with only one condition"
Amelia's cool expression changed to a sour one , the brat was really getting on her nerves
"What would that be?"
" I'll need a crew with me since you know how dangerous niflehmir is"
"Very well I will provide you with a crew and anything else you'll need, you'll leave in two weeks time until then you'll stay here"
He simply nodded
"Vermeil take him to one of the rooms in the palace"
Vermeil bowed and she and Asher left the palace.
