After the news of the battle between Conrad and Reginald was heard, everybody moved as quickly as they could to buy the tickets.
While Conrad sat down in his room, his door knocked, and he opened the door as Anisa and Adarte entered.
"We heard about it," Adarte said.
"Are you sure?" Anisa asked.
Conrad smiled at the both of them and walked back to his chair and sat down.
"Why are you two so anxious about it?"
"Do you guys believe that I will lose?"
Adarte and Anisa shook their heads in unison.
"It is just..." Anisa started.
"I think it is not needed to put yourself in such danger," she added.
Conrad smiled.
"People."
"My friends."
"I am happy you guys think for me, but the danger is not real," he added.
Adarte and Anisa kept their silence. They waited for a clear explanation.
Conrad understood that they needed more and then added.
"If it comes to feeling that I might lose and die in the process, I can just escape."
"You guys are both aware of some of my hidden abilities."
"Do you guys believe that anybody can hold me if I want to escape?"
Conrad saying these words made Adarte and Anisa nod.
Truthfully, they did not know much about Conrad and his capabilities.
But they experienced his teleportation capabilities; if things come to an end and he feels like he is going to die, it is more than likely that he can escape from certain death with not much of a problem.
"We get it." Adarte said as he looked at Anisa.
Conrad clapped and then spoke.
"It's been two weeks since we spoke."
"How is the matter of building a team going on?"
Anisa thought for a moment and then said it.
"There are many nen users we both encounter in our battles."
"But we are not sure who to invite and propose something like this."
"There is a need for big trust, competency, and capability."
"I guess our understanding of others is not that great," she said as she felt weak a little bit.
Conrad nodded.
"I guess you two are not that wrong."
"I might have to deal with that matter."
Adarte nodded.
"Truth be told, I wanted to tell you that I would be happier if you were to choose which people should be in our team."
Conrad smiled and looked at Adarte.
Adarte then added.
"You are definitely the most powerful nen user and strategist person that I know of."
"Also, I think you would be more capable of understanding if the person you are going to invite fits into our group or has some sort of a different idea within their mind."
Anisa added.
"We were great at the last mission..."
"But we did not forget that one nen user with some intelligence was able to manipulate us and then use us to attack you."
Conrad nodded.
"It is only to be expected that they have problems on that matter."
"Unfortunately for them, I can do nothing on that matter."
"It is something that they need to pass with their own capability."
Conrad then added.
"Okay, there is not much need to talk about this matter."
"I will handle selection of the people."
"Now."
"I would like some alone time to go on to understand my enemy and prepare for the battle."
Adarte and Anisa nodded and then left his room, leaving him alone.
While Conrad was alone, he took a piece of paper and wrote it.
"Sixth Ability."
"The Team"
Conrad already started focusing on the matter of the ability that would help him in terms of building a team.
He wanted the ability to not be complete. As he wanted to add more and more things to it.
Because of this reason, he believed, he may need to work at least two or three months on the ability alone to make it all powerful.
"For a team-based ability."
"The best conditions can be placed in three sections."
"Selection."
"Invite."
"Progress."
"Three conditions for the selection process."
"Three conditions for the invitation process."
"Three conditions for general progress."
Conrad stopped for a moment and then added.
"One more condition for the proposal."
"If more than ten conditions need to be fulfilled for a member to be taken into my team, more power and advantages for members in the team, I can place them."
"It may need a similar type of building method that is akin to Greed Island."
"Divine Script..."
"Limitations..."
Conrad took a deep breath and nodded.
"All of these will be planned after I deal with this guy named Reginald."
Conrad then closed his eyes and entered a meditative state.
-
The time passed quickly; other than spending his time in meditation, Conrad did nothing until the morning.
In the evening time, in a big arena inside of The Heavens Arena, more than ten thousand people were sitting on their chairs, everybody talking about who they have gone to bet on and who will win.
Death matches are rare and can only be done by the floor master level people or in a challenge time.
So, it was a big event.
Other than people who are watching the event while in the arena, there are also millions of people who are watching the battle from inside of their homes on their televisions.
Then, the announcements came.
"Floor Master – Reginald Laxia..."
Reginald entered the stage with a black robe, clothing nothing in his hand; the people started shouting his name, supporting him the most.
The fame of Reginald is much more than that of Conrad due to him being joined to Battle Olympia and coming in second, only losing in the final match.
After Conrad too was announced and some people supported him, two men looked at each other as they came into the middle.
Reginald said some words about how brave he is or something like that, but Conrad did not care.
Again, he is not in the mood to answer questions and interact with a powerful nen user.
"It will not be an easy battle." Conrad thought as he looked at Reginald.
This man at least has the same amount of power as weaker members of the Phantom Troupe, non-combatant ones.
