After the dinner, Conrad and Dali changed to a bar-like place for an easier time to talk and have some fun.
Dali then could not help but ask.
"So, now that I am a nen user myself, I can see how different I am compared to the ordinary people."
"Considering this, I wonder if this is regulated in some way."
Conrad took a sip from his cocktail and said.
"The Hunter Association works in that favor."
"It is almost too rare for an individual to become a nen user without being a hunter first, so when they become a hunter, they would be a hunter too."
Dali nodded.
"So, from what I get from your words is that the Hunter Association is a regulatory force for the hunters as well as Nen users, an organization that both punishes and also wants more hunters within them."
Conrad nodded.
"You could pretty much say that."
"V5, as you know, has a high degree of authority on the Hunter Association."
"When they are dealing with non-users and matters beyond conventional measures, they usually notify the Hunter Association."
"In return for the Hunter Association dealing with the problem, V5 gives them land and other resources, a give-and-take relationship."
Dali took a deep breath and took a sip.
As non-users, their tolerance for alcohol is pretty high. Because of this, they were not getting drunk easily from the drinks.
"Okay then."
"I should get going," said Dali.
Conrad nodded.
"Work on your "Ren" while you are; I will be seeing you in one week."
Dali smiled.
"I will do that."
After Dali left, Conrad closed his eyes for a moment.
He did feel that Dali was acting more than a friend to him, and he would be blind to not notice that she was flirting with him.
But Conrad believed he should not have a relationship for the time being.
He wanted to have more than just a relationship if it were possible, and for the time being he found it not that effective when it came to his goals that he wanted to complete in his life.
"I am still young and have much more time to think about these matters..."
"There is no need to hurry about it." Conrad said and then left the bar to go to his hotel room to train more.
-
Pariston looked at the report in front of himself as he smiled.
"A new player?" he thought.
"One star hunter, Conrad Everest; the reason for his elevation was mostly because of dealing with the Light Upon Us, the infiltration of the Matilda Kingdom to assassinate the prince."
"He has a team too..." Pariston thought as he read about it.
"Maybe he is interested in the mission..."
"Who knows."
-
Conrad was not aware that his actions and capabilities were already in the eyes of Pariston and his plans, not that he would care about it even if he were to know them.
While training his room to manipulate his nen better, Reginald called him.
"I am happy to tell you that I am finished with the creational condition." Reginald said, From the phone it can be told that he was really happy.
Conrad laughed.
"That is wonderful to hear."
"Now that you are using your ability, how does it feel?"
Reginald kept his silence for a moment or two and then said.
"It is wonderful."
"Something that I never thought I would be capable of."
"I can say that my power at least increased by 50%, and now while I am using my ability, I don't need to think about losing my eye power."
"It is just that after using the ability, my eye feels weaker and I have some problems when it comes to my sight."
Conrad listened and smiled.
"That can be expected."
"In the end, you are still using a complex and powerful nen ability."
"It would not be realistic to use such an ability without any drawbacks, as it does in line with the laws of nen."
Reginald nodded and then added.
"Now, I will be helping Lina to focus on her creational condition."
"Do you need anything?"
Conrad smiled.
"I don't need anything for the time being."
"As I said, finish your work, and then we shall talk."
"I would be notifying you and Lina and the others if we have some kind of a group mission."
Reginald nodded.
"Okay, then, see you later," he said and closed the phone.
Conrad smiled and nodded.
"When I met with Reginald, he was already capable enough to handle non-combatant members of the Phantom Troupe such as Kortopi and Shizuku."
"It was not guaranteed that he could take them down."
"But now, with his ability evolved due to the creational condition that he put it in, he is able to use it."
"I can say safely that he can fight eight fights of the ten, and he should be able to contend against Nen users like Shalnark and Uvogin for some time and would not be losing directly."
Of course, when it comes to the Phantom Troupe, due to their Nen levels and mastery, it is hard to tell who would win.
Reginald was a powerful fighter, but his experience and all the other matters still fall greatly when compared to an old user like Uvogin.
So, in these kinds of matters, what Morel said to Killua applies even if it did not apply to why Killua said those words.
When Killua said that he could see with ease that none of them could handle Neferpitou, Morel said to him that in a nen battle, one cannot understand and should think about who would lose or win.
These words of Morel are suited to battles between Phantom Troupe members and Reginald but not suited when it comes to Neferpitou and otherworldly powerful Nen users and monsters.
"I think it can be done." Conrad thought while he thought about all of these things.
"I should try to fight against Neferpitou and Youpi in my Sleeping Beast ability."
"From what I know about them, I should be able to simulate them up to %20."
"It would be a great training and also a new experience for me." With this thought, Conrad made sure that he was safe and got ready to enter the state of Sleeping Beast to train.
