The Seven-Tails shook itself with a giant fury after having been sent flying by mere humans. It cast off the tons of sand, stone, and molten gold that had attempted to bury it under all that weight. Each of its multiple eyes gleamed in the dim light with a burning rage, a brilliance that went far beyond simple animal instinct.

In the shinobi world, the tailed beasts were usually described in the manuals of the great villages as irrational masses of living hatred, disasters with legs that only knew how to destroy. However, the harsh reality that Rasa and Sasori were experiencing firsthand at this very moment was far more complex and terrifying: the Seven-Tails possessed a ruthless tactical intelligence, a combat sharpness forged through centuries of wars, persecutions, and survival against the most powerful ninjas in history.

"Don't give it a single second to breathe, Rasa!" Sasori's voice roared, resonating with a metallic vibration through the internal vocal mechanism of the body.

Sasori propelled Hiruzen's body into the air, defying the sharp gusts of wind unleashed by the Bijuu. The hands, whose joints showed subtle mechanical grooves designed to hide lethal weapons, performed a sequence of hand signs at a pace so fast that his fingers seemed to blur before any civilian sight. In a blink, he unleashed a big Katon: Karyū Endan, vomiting a massive torrent of liquid and ultra-hot flames that swept across the dune toward the giant insect.

At the same time, taking advantage of the distraction, Rasa flew over the terrain mounted on his floating platform of gold dust. With the veins on his forehead bulging from the effort and his arms extended downward, Rasa manipulated the currents of gold dust to consolidate a gigantic, high-density gold hammer, letting it fall with the weight of a mountain upon the beast's head.

The combined attack was executed with a precision that only two ninjas of Kage caliber could coordinate in the midst of chaos. The immense gold hammer struck the crown of the Seven-Tails squarely with the thunderous crash of a meteorite hitting the earth, forcing the Seven-Tails to drive its heavy lower legs deep into the depths of the sand.

Almost in the exact same millisecond, the blazing flames unleashed by Sasori enveloped the Bijuu's chitinous carapace in an inferno of incandescent orange fire that raised the desert temperature to unbearable levels. It seemed like a perfect offensive, an absolute demonstration of human power capable of deflecting, or at least subduing for a long time, any known invocation or enemy army.

However, the Seven-Tails didn't even flinch before the punishment for more than a few seconds.

Demonstrating once again that it was not a creature acting out of mere wild reflex, the Seven-Tails anticipated the flow of the counterattack. With a subtle, incredibly fast movement of its transparent wings, the beast generated a violent ultrasonic frequency, a vacuum vibration that extinguished Sasori's flames in an instant, dissipating them as if they were smoke from a snuffed-out campfire.

Before the giant molten gold hammer could completely crush its skeletal structure, the Bijuu tilted its heavy, armored body in an aerial dodging maneuver that defied all laws of physics for a creature of its scale. Opening its jaws, the Seven-Tails decided it would not waste valuable seconds molding a maximum-sized Bijūdama; instead, it condensed red and blue chakra at ballistic speed, creating three compressed spheres of pure energy, three mini-Bijūdamas the size of boulders—and fired them consecutively at its aggressors.

"Watch out, Rasa! Break the formation!" Sasori's voice warned as he escaped with acrobatic leaps backward.

Rasa, seeing the trajectory of the three energy projectiles advancing and distorting the air in their path, was forced to instantly dissolve his offensive stance. He crossed his arms forward, calling upon all available gold dust in the sector to raise a dense, thick, and layered defensive dome in front of his body. The small Bijūdamas impacted one after the other with an interval of microseconds.

The concentrated piercing power of the Seven-Tails' spheres was destructive: the first sphere disintegrated the outer layers of gold as if it were butter exposed to the sun; the second pierced the core of the shield, cracking the shinobi's resolve; and the third detonated with an explosive wave so massive that it threw Rasa through the air. The master of the sand flew several dozen meters before rolling heavily over the rough and merciless crests of the dunes, completely losing control of his jutsu.

Sasori, utilizing the pure speed and intact reflexes of the Third Hokage, tried to flank the giant insect's blind spot. Falling from an elevated position, the puppet executed a swift and devastating Raiton: Shiden Kuwagata, channeling a massive flow of high-density electricity that took the form of a gigantic lightning bird of blinding white color.

The electrical projectile descended, roaring like continuous thunder, seeking to collapse the creature's nervous system and wings through a discharge of thousands of volts. But the Seven-Tails had already read the attack pattern. The giant beetle not only avoided the bulk of the offensive by unexpectedly raising its flight, but also combined its immense elemental chakra with a wind jutsu of disastrous scale. It emitted a focused ultrasonic shriek that interacted with the thermal currents of the desert, creating an invisible but lethal blade of compressed air.

The sonic attack crossed the space in a blink, severing the left arm of Hiruzen's body. The arm went flying through the air, shedding gears, chakra threads, and broken storage seals with a dry, disheartening crunch.

From that instant, the open-field combat quickly transformed into a one-sided massacre, a display of the insurmountable abyss that existed between the limited chakra of mortals and the power of a fragment of the Ten-Tails.

Thanks to its infinite energy reserves, the Seven-Tails showed no signs of fatigue or physical wear on its body. The beast began to ruthlessly chain together wind jutsus in the form of tornadoes that kicked up dust storms, explosive spores that detonated at the slightest contact with anything, and direct physical charges with its armored horns.

Rasa, with short breath, a dry mouth, and his combat attire torn by residual stone shrapnel, could barely stand. Every time he tried to mold the gold, he felt a stab of pain in his chakra pathways; his reserves were dropping to alarmingly critical levels. Maintaining the weight of such a dense metal required a level of concentration and energy that his battered and exhausted body could no longer sustain.

Sasori, experiencing the frustration directly in his own mind transferred to the wounded frame of Hiruzen, was forced to play a purely evasive strategy. The body of the Third Hokage, which was once the pinnacle of strength in the world, was now covered in dents, splinters, and black marks caused by the acid mist that the Bijuu passively secreted.

Both warriors, recognized as legends within Sunagakure's military power, were exhausted, wounded in their pride and their physics, reduced to a position of absolute helplessness where they could only dodge erratically to avoid being pulverized by the relentless storm of energy that the creature continued to deploy without apparent effort.

The Seven-Tails soared suddenly into the sky, halting its advance several dozen meters above the dunes. Its multiple fixed, insectoid eyes looked down toward the ground with the natural arrogance proper to a natural disaster. Realizing that the two humans crawling in the sand no longer possessed the strength to represent a threat or delay its movements, the beast simply lost interest in them. It stopped seeing them as worthy enemies.

It turned its giant body in the air, extended its seven leaf-like tails as stabilizers, and fixed its gaze directly on the distant lights of Sunagakure peeking through the breach in the destroyed wall. With no Arata present in the perimeter to balance the scales with his own Bijuu, the village was an indefensible nest, a place of sand, clay, and power ready to be eradicated from the face of the earth. With a powerful, rhythmic, and coordinated beat of its wings, the Seven-Tails propelled itself at breakneck speed, becoming a green comet advancing in a straight line back toward the village.

"Damn it... stop... don't you dare!" Rasa shouted, crawling in desperation over the crest of the dune, extending his right hand in an agonic attempt to mold one last gold chain to intercept one of the monster's legs. However, the distance was too great, and the near-total absence of chakra in his system caused the metallic dust to fall uselessly, scattering pitifully over the dry sand.

Sasori tried to activate the fire thrusters hidden in the scrolls on the back of Hiruzen's puppet to undertake an aerial pursuit, but the damaged joints and internal gears on the left side failed with a metallic screech, forcing the puppet to drop to its knees. Neither of the two warriors could do anything more than watch, with a mixture of horror and helplessness that cut to the very depths of their shinobi souls, as the giant beetle flew relentlessly to unleash a slaughter on the home they swore to protect.

However, the destiny of the Sand was not written to perish tonight.

Just in the millisecond when the Seven-Tails crossed the invisible line dividing the open desert from the village's outer approach perimeter, the entire ground seemed to hold its breath. The ambient temperature dropped suddenly and the air pressure became strangely static, as if the earth itself were bracing for an impact.

In a blink, the sand directly beneath the beast's flight path convulsed violently, behaving like an ocean churning during a tidal wave. A giant hand, a fist of massive proportions composed of thousands of interlocking blocks of ultra-dense pink crystal, erupted from the depths of the desert with the speed and force of a lightning bolt.

The giant crystal hand closed with a tremendous twisting force around the armored neck of the Seven-Tails, halting its aerial advance in its tracks and neutralizing all of its kinetic energy in an instant. The Seven-Tails let out a muffled shriek of total surprise and confusion as the immense crystal hand, following a downward and relentless trajectory, slammed it with seismic violence directly against the desert floor.

The impact was so brutal that it caused a massive crater, an explosive wave that kicked up a wall of dust and shook the adjacent dunes for kilometers around, vibrating even the underground foundations where the civilians were hiding.

Rasa and Sasori turned their heads sharply toward the source of such a display of power, looking for the savior who had broken in at the last second.

There, standing atop an elevated dune that dominated the battlefield, was Daigo. However, there was no longer any trace of the man who had started the battle: the Kazekage had achieved a terrifying transformation that emanated a natural presence capable of rivaling the Bijuu itself.

On his face, his dark skin now served as a canvas for the sacred and imposing natural markings belonging to the legendary Sage Mode of the Elephants. Two thick lines of a deep olive-green tone were born just above his eyebrows, rising toward the hairline like heraldic tusks, while three horizontal stripes of the same color cleanly crossed the bridge of his nose, joined to a vertical line that descended firmly toward his upper lip, granting him the appearance of an ancient deity, a guardian of the forgotten temples of the earth.

His left eye had completely changed, now showing a bright, feline yellow iris with a sharp, deep pupil that denoted absolute attunement with the planet's natural energy. But the most imposing, mysterious, and striking feature of his new appearance was concentrated on his right side: his right eye. From this crystal sprouted ramifications of pink crystalline energy, small rays of natural plasma that furrowed the skin of his right cheek like scars of light. His ash-gray hair waved gently, driven by the heat radiating from his own body.

Daigo kept his feet completely bare, sunk firmly into the warm sand, using them as conducting roots to absorb the nature chakra in a constant, infinite, and fluid manner. He moved his hands forward with amazing parsimony and elegance, executing soft yet firm gestures, as if he were an invisible orchestra conductor controlling every crystal, every grain of sand, and every mineral frequency of the desert according to his absolute will.

The giant crystal hand keeping the Seven-Tails pinned to the ground began to fill with luminous fracture lines under Daigo's mental command. With a subtle snap of his fingers, the pink crystal exploded, but the resulting fragments did not fall uselessly to the ground. Driven by the senjutsu chakra of Sage Mode, the millions of pieces of crystal instantly pulverized in the air, transforming into a big, dense, and majestic storm of bright pink sand that began to orbit at a dizzying speed around the stunned Bijuu, completely blocking out the moonlight and tinting the desert with a mystical pink hue.

It was a visually beautiful yet profoundly lethal spectacle, an endless vortex of billions of microscopic pink crystal blades moving in perfect synchronicity, flawlessly mimicking the deadly dance of a swarm of cherry blossoms made of steel. With a subtle and fluid movement of Daigo's hands, the pink storm began to close in and relentlessly attack the Bijuu from every possible angle.

The millions of high-frequency crystal impacts simultaneously struck the joints of the membranous wings, the compound eyes, and the softer segments of the giant beetle's carapace. The punishment was so severe that it began to rip sparks of green chakra from the Bijuu's surface, splintering and cracking its natural armor while the vortex confined it to the center of the crater, neutralizing any attempt to escape.

The Seven-Tails roared in fury, shaking its tails and trying to flap its damaged wings to release a new ultrasonic wave to pulverize the confinement surrounding it. However, the nature chakra infused directly into Daigo's Shōton altered the properties of the crystal: every time the sound broke a section, the fragments regenerated, multiplied, and compacted at a speed far superior to the destructive capacity of the insect's vibrations. The pink storm continued to rotate relentlessly, grinding down the beast's energy mantle and pressing it against the ground.

Daigo, maintaining a gélid and unshakeable gaze dictated by the cold logic of his sage eyes, took a decisive step forward upon the crest of the dune. He raised his right leg firmly and struck the ground barefoot three consecutive times, applying a rhythmic, heavy, and forceful impact that resonated like the footsteps of an ancestral pachyderm across the desert sand.

PUM! PUM! PUM!

The senjutsu chakra of the Elephant Sage Mode, combined with residual energy, injected itself like a pulse of extreme heat directly into the fault lines and deep mineral layers of the desert subsoil. The physical reaction was instantaneous and catastrophic for the environment.

In a blink of an eye, the entire dune beneath the Seven-Tails' body fractured into dozens of incandescent lines. The sand began to glow with a bright red color before completely liquefying in a matter of seconds, transforming into an immense, dense, and bubbling lake of pure lava—an ocean of boiling magma that emerged from the depths of the earth to reclaim the surface.

The seven tails, firmly trapped by the oppressive weight of the pink crystal vortex and devoid of any capacity to take flight due to the damage suffered by its wings, fell squarely into the center of the ocean of molten sand.

The agonic, shrill, and piercing screams of the Seven-Tails as it felt the unbearable pain of its dense chakra mantle being dissolved, burned, and evaporated by the lava infused with nature energy, began to echo dismally, long, and shatteringly across the vastness of the open desert, marking definitively the beginning of the true and devastating counterattack of the Kazekage of the Sand.
