"Yes. Thank you, you and everyone, for taking care of me all this time," Su Yi said calmly, smiling as usual. His right hand was wrapped in clean white gauze. "But I think… it's time we parted."
"Do Exusiai and the others know?" the Emperor asked.
He pressed a hand to his forehead. His mind felt like it had crashed—too many emotions jammed into his small chest, with nowhere to go.
"They don't. I'd like you to help me keep it from them, boss. I… can't handle the atmosphere of goodbyes," Su Yi said.
"Why? Give me a reason! Are you going to the LGD? Or to Peak-Speed Logistics?!" the Emperor demanded.
He'd already made up his mind: if Su Yi was jumping to the LGD, he'd go straight to Wei Yenwu.
And if it was Peak-Speed Logistics, then he'd go find that old bull.
Bottom line: Su Yi was his employee. Poaching him was no different than putting a green hat on him!
"I vaguely recalled some memories," Su Yi said, offering the excuse he'd prepared the night before. "I want to go search for my past."
