Chapter 261 - Chapter 261: Attacking Molten Core

To accumulate Life Essence, Arthas was truly pushing himself to the limit, constantly bedding women. After finishing with Lireesa, he teleported back to Blackrock Spire, his cock still stained with her fluids, and dragged Alleria back to his room to roughly enter her body! To play with the mother and then screw the daughter—such behavior was practically appalling!

The next day, the group appeared at the Molten Core.

Jaina, Lady Jandice, and Illucia worked together to cast magic to dispel the elemental seals here. All three women possessed excellent magical talent, and their coordinated arcane efforts were nearly perfect. There were no instances of getting in each other's way. Once the elemental seals were neutralized, Onyxia personally added a layer of magic, taking control of the seals herself.

"Done."

Arthas seemed very impulsive, gripping his shield and longsword. "Let's go. Nefarian, Sabellian, head inside and find Majordomo Executus. Muradin, take the Dark Iron Dwarves and the elite squad to take out any minions blocking the way. Get the engineering team in here to pave roads and build bridges to prevent the minions from interfering with us. The rest of you, follow me. Whoever stands in our way, kill them! Athena, Artemis, you two little ones are responsible for eating the fire elementals' Crystal Cores!"

In Molten Core, any fire elemental creature would respawn after a period of time once killed. The abundant fire elemental energy served as their best nourishment; fighting here also increased their strength accordingly.

The two adult Dragons, though somewhat reluctant, still followed Arthas's orders. They transformed into black dragons and flew inside to scout. This was a battle concerning the honor of the Black Dragonflight. Whether they could win directly affected whether the black dragons could return to their position as Guardians. Thus, by all logic and emotion, they had to give it their all. The black dragons had a strong sense of racial identity; if not for their race, everything they did would be meaningless.

Arthas led the charge and was the first to see two Flamewakers guarding the gate. These Flamewakers resembled the Naga form, though they were male Naga with their entire bodies covered in blazing fire.

Squelch! Bloodlust!

His longsword, carrying frantic power, hacked into a Flamewaker's head. A massive critical hit number popped up above its head, and it was killed before it could even speak.

After hacking one Flamewaker to death, Arthas immediately turned to strike the other, his gaze becoming impatient and violent. His time was tight; he needed to collect enough sacrifices and Life Essence within six months. Otherwise, the child in his aunt's belly wouldn't be safe. For his own happiness, and so that his sister Jaina and his mother Lianne could bear him children in the future, this mission had to be completed! There was no room for compromise; only success was allowed, and failure was not an option. Consequently, he became exceptionally violent.

Alleria looked at her husband with some concern. He seemed a bit too eager for quick results, though his task assignments were rational. It was just this crazed state that worried her. She also knew some of the inside story; Arthas had told her last night while he was doing her that in order for the child to be better, he needed to prepare more materials to offer to the Titans to receive a blessing. This was for the child's future.

The observant Alleria vaguely sensed that her husband must have gotten some woman pregnant, she just didn't know who. As they entered Molten Core, the temperature became much hotter; just walking caused one to sweat constantly. Sweaty palms would make it slippery and difficult to grip weapons, which had a major impact on combat.

Jaina released frost magic, drawing out the fire elemental energy and storing it in magical containers to use as reserve power batteries. This also allowed her frost spells to be cast more smoothly. Instead of using Frostbolt, she used a cooling-type ice magic to drop the temperature to an acceptable range. Although it was still hot, it wasn't to the point of causing delirium.

After ten minutes of hacking and slashing, a roar of furious rage echoed through Molten Core.

"Damned lowly dwarves! You dare betray the Firelord! Die here today!" A fire elemental composed entirely of lava, wearing bracers, appeared before Arthas. Its fiery face held extreme disdain. With a wave of its hand, a large number of small fire elementals rushed out from behind it. "I will burn you to ashes!"

Just as it finished speaking, Arthas charged forward and landed a punch directly on Baron Geddon's face.

"Rebuke (Passive) (Advanced): Every three seconds, launches an attack that interrupts the enemy's casting. The interrupted enemy takes 100% of the backlash damage from that attack and is silenced for ten seconds."

This was an automatic counter-skill. When an enemy channeled a skill, Arthas would instinctively sense it and interrupt them. Facing warriors was one thing, as they rarely had channeled skills and mostly relied on direct hacking. This skill was rarely used, as he rarely faced caster-type bosses. Now, this arrogant little boss actually had the gall to chant a spell in front of Arthas—was he asking for a beating that would make his own mother not recognize him?

Bang! A small piece of Baron Geddon's body exploded; the skill just now had backfired on him. Even though they were fire skills, it still broke through his defenses!

"Damn you! You lowly wretch deserve to die!"

Facing Arthas's frantic assault, every sword strike landed on the location of his Crystal Core. Baron Geddon discovered to his horror that he could no longer use his skills. Even the elemental power he usually commanded with ease seemed to stop obeying him.

"What did you do to me!"

"I did your mother! Trash!" Arthas entered a state of violent rage, his Holy Light skills firing off one after another.

"Abominable! Die! Go to hell!" Baron Geddon was, after all, a three-meter-tall fire elemental giant. Being suppressed and beaten by a small human was a blow to his pride. Without his elemental power, he still had his brute strength. He raised a fist the size of a cooking pot and smashed it down toward Arthas! Especially when he saw that Arthas didn't dodge but instead held up his shield to tank it, he almost couldn't help but laugh like a pig. How foolish!

Clang! The moment the fist hit the shield, Baron Geddon clearly saw the ferocious grin on Arthas's face. Before he could wonder why the man was smiling like that, he felt a massive force reflect back from his fist, sending his six-hundred-pound body flying!
