Andrea's pov
I was walking to the exit of the mall with my assistant, Zack. I was talking to him about our previous meeting with another company when a man, wearing a grey suit bumped into me. He was using his phone. This dumb b**ch. I didn't say anything to him but i got annoyed when he said,
"can't you fu**ing see where you're going?" So i replied,
"shouldn't you be asking that to yourself? I mean you were the one who was using his phone without looking at where he is headed to. That's not your garden or something where you can walk around without any care." I said in an annoyed to tone.
He raised an eyebrow. Then he asked, "do you know who you're talking to?" I said nonchalantly,
"i don't care who you are. Because if you are some rich peeps, i'm also the daughter of a successful businessman. So please skip this 'do you even know me' talk." Then he said, "you are so rude."
"Yeah! I know." I said with a faint smirk. Then i turned to leave but then he stopped me and said, "why are you agreeing to my insults without causing a scene? I mean many would do that." He said in a sarcastic tone.
I turned to him with a small smile tugged at my lips. I replied in a polite voice, "because i just remembered that i have much more important things waiting for me. I don't have time to argue with an idiot like you."
Saying this, i left the mall with Zack and didn't give that man a chance to say something in return.
We were heading to my father's company. Zack was driving the car and he just said something out of the blue, "that was cool."
I asked, "what?"
"The way you replied to that man, that was awesome." I smiled, "i know Zack. But thanks tho, for the compliment."
The ride went smoothly. If you're wondering, me and Zack have been best friends from our university years. I've been with him for like 7 years. He became my assistant 2 years ago because he wasn't from a rich family like mine and he needed the money for his father's operation. I asked him,
"How's uncle, Zack?" He replied, "he's fine. The doctor says he's getting better and he'll wake up soon." I nodded my head. We reached the company. Both of us got out at the same time and we entered the gigantic building.

We were talking about what my father wanted to say. We went to the reception. The receptionist looked at me and smiled, "good afternoon Ms. Andrea!" She greeted me. I smiled back and replied, "good afternoon to you too Hailey!" "You know my name?" She asked as she was shocked. "I literally come here everyday. It's normal to know everyone's name now. By the way, is Mr. Smith free right now?" I asked.
*Mr. Smith's my father*
She replied, "yes he just called me a few minutes ago telling me that you'll be here. You can go." I smiled and nodded my head. Then me and Zack went to the lift and he pressed the button. The doors opened and we got in. We were talking about this or that. While talking, i cracked a joke to which we both laughed. We reached the top floor where my father was. I knocked on the door and heard a faint "come in" I got in and he stood up from his chair. "Andrea, my dear!" "Hey dad!" I hugged him and he hugged me back. We broke the hug. He said, "I was waiting for you. Oh hey Zack! How are you?" Zack smiled and shook his hand s with him. He replied, "I'm great, Uncle. How about you?" "I'm fine too. By the way i called you both here because i want you to attend a meeting with Mr. Leo Salazar, the next CEO of Salazar & co. We are collaborating to make both of the companies even more stronger than they are now." He said. I replied, "okay dad. We'll do it but when will he arrive?" I asked to which he replied, " you just go to the meeting room. He'll be there." I nodded my head. Then me and Zack went to the meeting room. I entered the room with a smile. But that faded away when i saw who Leo Salazar was. He looked at me and got shocked. We both said at the same time, "You!?" I looked at Zack and he had the same expression on his face.
