Synopsis
UNDYING LOVE: Between Power and Pain {The past is in the past} Amber Gareth believed love was something you survived, not something you chased. Once upon a time, she loved deeply—recklessly, hopelessly. And when that love shattered, she buried it so far beneath her confidence, sarcasm, and sharp tongue that even she forgot what it felt like to hope again. Now, she lives by one rule: no relationships, no attachments, no love. Marriage? Out of the question. Amber is rich, famous, desired, and completely uninterested. With her curvy figure, unapologetic confidence, and biting honesty, men fall at her feet—but she walks past them without a second glance. To the world, she’s the fearless Gareth sister. To herself, she’s a woman who refuses to bleed again. But fate has its own cruel sense of timing. Alexander Wilson is everything Amber avoids. Cold. Powerful. Untouchable. As the president of Wilson Group, Alex has built an empire on discipline and silence. He doesn’t smile, doesn’t date, and doesn’t explain himself. The board fears him. The media speculates about him. And society whispers behind his back—why is a man this successful still unmarried? What they don’t know is that Alex already lost the only woman he ever loved. The past didn’t just wound him—it froze him. Now, pressure mounts. Investors demand stability. The board demands a wife. His parents demand grandchildren. And Alex is forced to make a decision he never planned to face again. Marry… or lose control of everything he built. So when an unexpected solution presents itself, Alex does the unthinkable—he proposes a contract marriage. No love. No emotions. No expectations. Just a signature. Amber never planned to cross paths with Alexander Wilson. And she definitely never planned to become his wife. But circumstances collide, families interfere, and a deal is struck—one that benefits them both. A temporary marriage. A public image. A private agreement. What could possibly go wrong? Living under the same roof was never part of the plan. Neither was late-night arguments. Lingering glances. Unspoken jealousy. Or the way Alex’s cold eyes soften only when Amber isn’t looking. As the contract blurs and emotions creep in, the past begins to claw its way back to the surface. Secrets unfold. Old wounds reopen. Ex-lovers resurface. And truths long buried threaten to destroy everything. Amber’s sharp tongue hides a heart still afraid to love. Alex’s silence hides a pain he never healed from. And when love finally knocks—harder than either of them expects—the question remains: Can two broken people risk loving again… without losing themselves? Or will the past prove that some hearts are never meant to heal?

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Curvy Body & Corporate Chaos

"Ma'am, please wake up! You need to get up… Pretty please?" Elena's voice was sweet, but there was a hint of panic.

"Five more minutes…" Amber groaned, hiding under the covers.

Elena rolled her eyes, hands on her hips. "I swear, if you don't get ready soon, Camila will get me fired. Do you want that on your conscience, ma'am?"

Amber groaned again, finally lifting her head. "Fine, fine… I'm up."

Elena clapped her hands. "Thank goodness. Your water is ready, with rose petals today. What color of dress are you wearing?"

"Blue," Amber muttered, dragging herself toward the bathroom.

At the same time, Camila was facing her own morning chaos.

"Hope that little pest is ready," she muttered until a polite knock came at her door.

"Come in," she said.

Evelyn, her loyal maid, entered, carrying a tray of cosmetics and hair accessories. "I couldn't rest knowing you weren't ready, Ma'am."

Camila smiled. "Thanks, but I'm done. Go get some rest, and make sure to see the doctor."

Downstairs, Elsa, the elegant matriarch of the Gareth family, was checking the breakfast table. Amber and Camila emerged, each wearing different designs of the same shade of blue.

"Sis, why are you wearing the same color as me?" Amber whined.

"If you don't like it, change your dress. I'm not changing mine," Camila said sharply.

"Mom!" Both girls turned, knowing their mother always had the final word.

"You look amazing, both of you. Blue suits sisters beautifully," Elsa said warmly, placing a hand on each of their shoulders.

Amber's eyes sparkled. "Really, Mom?"

"Yes, cuties. Now eat your breakfast or you'll be late for your meeting."

Meanwhile, across town at Wilson Mansion, tension was brewing.

"Mom, Alex doesn't want to take me to the salon!" Carie cried, stomping her tiny feet.

"Alex, take your sister," Flora insisted, raising an eyebrow at her son.

"I… we have different plans," Alex muttered.

Carie's eyes welled with tears. "You don't love me anymore!"

Alex knelt down. "Carie, I'll always make time for you. Let's go," he said gently, lifting her onto his back.

At the same time, the corporate world was buzzing. Amber and Camila arrived at Gareth Accessories, stepping out of their signature Rolls Royce. Passersby couldn't help but stare.

"Oh my! It's the Gareth sisters!" employees whispered.

"They look even more stunning in real life!"

Inside the office, Amber and Camila were greeted by Chief Director Edward, a tall, sharp man in his forties.

"Good morning, Gareth sisters. It's nice to have you here," he said politely.

Camila smiled. "Thanks. Are these the representatives from Don Homes?"

"Yes, this is their president, Donald, and his team," Edward replied.

Amber leaned back, confident and assertive. "Let's start the meeting."

As the meeting commenced, Amber's assistant, Leo, shuffled papers nervously. "Ms. Amber, the presentation slides are ready."

Amber nodded. "Thank you, Leo. Make sure Donald gets the first copy."

Across the room, Donald's secretary, Cynthia, whispered to a colleague, "That little Ms. Amber… she's bold. I like that."

Meanwhile, at Wilson Headquarters, Alex faced a different kind of pressure.

"Mr. Wilson, we need to know when Alex is getting married. We cannot have an unmarried president," Mr. Tallen, the board's senior member, insisted.

Alex's father, Wilson, frowned. "Are you implying my son is…?"

"Not exactly, but you could consider arranging a match," Tallen suggested.

"And who says I want your daughter?" Alex's voice silenced the room. Tension filled the air like a storm waiting to break.

Back at the Gareth Mansion, Elsa's youngest child, Sophie, peeked into the breakfast room.

"My poor baby girls, you're going to wear out your beauty before thirty!" she teased, ruffling Amber's hair.

"I'm just keeping up with my sis," Amber said, rolling her eyes.

Camila smirked. "And keeping up with everyone else, apparently. Don't let anyone outshine you, little sister."

Even the family dog, Chester, wagged his tail as if sensing the morning energy, circling around Amber's feet.

In the city, news of the meeting and the sisters' presence spread like wildfire. Employees whispered:

"Amber's curves… Camila's elegance… I can't even…"

Inside the conference room, Amber and Camila held their own, exchanging sharp glances and confident smiles.

"Are you always this intimidating?" Donald asked, trying to maintain composure.

Amber's eyes narrowed slightly. "Depends on who's asking."

Camila added, "And whether you can keep up."

Donald cleared his throat, glancing at Cynthia. "I think… we'll manage."

Meanwhile, at Harvard College, Laylar, the strict class monitor, was managing the classroom chaos.

"Everyone, submit your notes on my desk. No excuses!"

April and her friends hesitated. "We… we were just…"

Laylar's glare froze them in place. "Count down from five, or face Miss Theresa's wrath!"

The students scrambled, papers flying. "This is chaos," whispered one of the timid freshmen.

As the day continued, the Gareth sisters left the meeting with their reputations intact, their elegance turning heads wherever they went. Amber's phone buzzed with messages, and Camila's assistant, Yvette, reminded her of upcoming interviews and photoshoots.

Back home, Elsa and Harrison, the family patriarch's close friend, discussed strategy over tea.

"Amber and Camila… they're not just beautiful. They're smart, strong, and ambitious," Harrison said.

Elsa nodded. "Exactly why they must learn to navigate these corporate waters carefully. Not everyone admires them for the right reasons."

And so the morning ended, with luxury, power, and whispers of scandal in the air. The Gareth sisters, determined, glamorous, and unapologetic, had just begun to stir the world around them—one meeting, one glance, and one conversation at a time.
