The wound was not shallow, though it was not life-threatening either, yet her fingers trembled just enough to make the cloth shift unevenly.
He tilted his head slightly, watching her with that same sharp, observant gaze that never seemed to miss the smallest detail, even when he himself was injured.
"Why do you look like you are shaking?"
Georgia stiffened slightly, "I am not."
"You are," he replied calmly, his voice carrying that familiar hint of dry amusement, "and quite noticeably, I might add."
