**Claire's P.O.V**
Then I felt his aura, it wasn't like Rachel's, it was weak, barely caused anything.
I turned forward and continued walking then turned around to see three figures instead of one, and they didn't look like they were hiding at all.
I had a little peek at them once again, they were under the street light and all had the smug grin the first one had.
I quicken my pace but they didn't seem to do the same, like they were sure that no one was coming to save me
All I am Is badluck so why would someone want to hurt me?
I suddenly remembered the woman on the roof.
My heart started racing, I felt a tear slip from my eyes as I tried quickening my pace but I was overstretching my leg already.
I had no other choice
I started running, as fast as my leg could carry.
I didn't even look back when I was running, i couldn't afford to, my mind was racing, heart beating fast, think of the possibility of something horrible happening to me.
I stopped to catch my breath after running a far distance.
I didn't even realize that I had diverted away from the road leading to the bus stop.
I looked around and noticed that there was no one on the street only flickering street lights
Then in an instant they had caught up to be and were a few meters away from me.
"Someone important would like to meet you"
"First of all who are you?"
"A friend of your dad's, I'm carlos" The one who looked the most mature said.
"I don't wanna know your fucking name, why have you been following me?"
"Why am I obliged to answer this bitch?" He asked the person besides him.
The grin on his face had been replaced with frustration
"You piece of shit, you're a low rank, and have you forgotten she's noble blood?" The person behind him said.
Noble blood?
Nothing that had happened today was making sense.
First Percy said something about dream demon then vanished, that strange woman then appeared and also vanished, now this?
I was starting to doubt my state of mind.
"Like I said we just wanna talk or rather he just wants to talk, whatever, and you're going have to comply"
"And if I don't?"
"Lucifer clearly said to avoid the use of force, so we are going to do absolutely nothing" The man besides him said.
"Shit what's with all this rules, if he wants her he should come get her"
"What are you guys talking about?" I said as they cooked at me shocked.
"She doesn't know?"
"Ask her yourself you weirdo"
"So you really don't know what you are?"
"What are you talking about?"
The grin on their faces immediately reappeared as they talked in hushed tones.
Then they began slowly approaching me.
I just watched them, I couldn't move, I should've turned around and ran but I just couldn't, my legs were shaking.
I closed my eyes awaiting a miracle as my heartbeat grew louder.
Carlos's hand touched my chin and brought his lips so close to my ears.
"You brought disgrace to your mother, my queen and made her suffer punishment in order to protect and you aren't aware of her sacrifice?".
"You're pathetic, now let's….." I didn't let him finish, hearing him talk about a mother I never got to know, something in me snapped.
An unseen forces pushed him away from me, as his eyes widened in shock.
So did mine.
I felt different, strong, but it all disappeared as my knees grew weak and betrayed me leaving me on the wet ground.
Carlos tried calling the other guy but when we both looked towards his direction, we saw him in the hands Xander, and then he vanished into ashes.
What the hell was going on?
"Xander" it came out of my lips so fast that I didn't even realize, he was looking at me with a look I couldn't process.
Confused?
But ignoring that fact reality hit me ' What just happened?' I asked myself
What was he doing here?
Was he following me too?
I had too many questions that couldn't be answered this moment, but help was hereand that's all that matters.
"Get out of here Claire". He said and I tried getting up but I felt too weak to move.
I was panicking, breathing fast, my vision was blurry but i could still see Xander walking towards me.
"Claire, look at me, you're fine" he said holding my hand firmly, giving me this reassurance that I was in safe hands and proceeded to leave.
"Don't leave me"
"Just gotta take care of something, I'll be back now"
I tried to look at Carlos, but my breathing started slowly down, although I couldn't see him I was sure that he was confused.
I closed my eyes and counted to ten trying to completely ignoring the screams I was hearing and to calm myself down
I finally opened it to see only Xander standing then he started rushing towards me.
"We need to leave quickly"
"What were you doing around here by the way?" He asked whilst helping me up and supporting me against him.
"I didn't have enough money to head home so I figured I'll walk to the nearest bus stop, it's farther that I expected"
"Couldn't you call someone or asked me to drop you off"
"My phone was switched off, and I tried looking for you" I said tears pricking
"I was just worried, I hope I didn't upset you with my questions"
"No, I just thought something would've happened to me" I said wiping the tears.
He hugged me and when we both realized how close we were separated and resumed walking.
'So he really wasn't planning on telling me what those things were and how he managed to kill them'
I occasionally glanced at him as we walked.
We had reached the bus stop in no time and we were now waiting for the bus to arrive.
"Just curious, how'd you find me?"
"I didn't, I have been following those men"
"Then why were they following me?, what were they?"
"I admit it's strange that they were following you and the fact that they talked, they must be high level"
I just looked at him dumbfounded and he noticed that I wasn't understanding anything he was saying.
"I really don't know how to explain it, let's get you home, your brother would probably be the best person to help you understand us"
'Us?, he said us....'
I couldn't understand anything that was going on but a few words managed to escape my lips.
"Xander, what are you?"
"I should be asking you that"
