Boom—!!!
An earth-shattering explosion instantly dulled the world!
Terrifying explosive flames, mixed with dazzling light, formed a fireball several kilometers in diameter, rising into a hundred-meter-high mushroom cloud, much to the stunned expressions of the loyalists!
The entire ground seemed to shake, and a violent Impact, as if substantial, sent the Chaos rabble flying, toppling them over in swathes like wheat in a field!
Flames blazed, thick smoke billowed!
The scene immediately descended into chaos; a second the Chaos rabble held a decisive advantage, howling and screaming, the next they were physically annihilated by the exploding warship!
Astartes?
Don't be ridiculous, even a Dreadnought would be annihilated, let alone power armor; that stuff was no different from paper under the explosion of a Warp-speed engine!
Out of over three hundred Chaos Astartes, some miraculously escaped because they charged slower, but nearly two hundred Chaos Astartes were permanently turned into a part of Roselle in the terrifying explosion.
As for the daemon armies of Tzeentch and Khorne, and even the cultists, their casualties were even more severe; due to their dense gathering, two-thirds of them were instantly wiped out!
Emrys felt that if there were a battle report system, his mind would probably be dinging non-stop right now.
This wave, at least, qualified him as an MVP!
On the eve of the warship's explosion, Emrys hid in the Alien universe, quickly returned, and looked at the heavily damaged Chaos rabble, feeling incredibly satisfied!
"That's what you get for holding a grudge! That's what you get for finding a Greater daemon to torture me!"
Emrys finally vented his anger, feeling so refreshed that his entire body felt a tingling numbness: "I wiped out your legion in one go, let's see what you have left!"
Meanwhile, in the forge factory.
Watching the alien battleship deliberately crash into Chaos forces, causing massive enemy losses and greatly alleviating their own pressure, even Leon couldn't help but twitch his face, eventually exclaiming after a long pause: "Loyal, so f*cking loyal!"
And wasn't it loyal?
The alien, piloting a warship, actively crashed into the Chaos side before it went down; that was so loyal that an Inquisitor would probably give them an award!
Of course, as a member of the Imperium, he couldn't say such things, so Leon's mind quickly turned, and he directly grabbed the battle standard, roaring: "Everyone, this must be the Emperor's blessing, we will surely achieve victory!!!"
What heresy? That was clearly the Emperor's blessing!
Amidst the excited crowd, only Jackal's mouth hung open, staring blankly at the location of the battleship's explosion, taking a sharp intake of breath: "My Emperor, could it be… that kid caused this big commotion?!"
...Space orbit, world Eaters Strike Cruiser.
The world Eaters Legion could be traced back to the Great Crusade, with their Primarch Angron Tharkir, a 'legendary' useless Primarch in 40K.
Speaking of Angron, one topic is inevitably brought up: the 'Butcher's Nails' on his forehead.
It is said that this was an ancient technology from the Dark Age that could grant the implantee immense power but would also plunge them into a state of rage.
It was precisely because of this that Angron was jokingly referred to as having the 'Butcher's Nails' on his forehead as his true self.
There were Warp rumors that the real Angron had actually died long ago, and the thing to live now was purely the Nails coming to life.
From this, one can understand the reputation of the world Eaters Primarch, 'King of Slayers' Angron, in Warhammer.
And as it happened, most members of the world Eaters Legion were also forcibly implanted with the 'Butcher's Nails' by their Primarch.
Heaven knows why Angron insisted on implanting the Butcher's Nails into each of his sons; perhaps he thought it was a fun thing to do.
Due to various reasons, during the 'Horus Heresy', the 'world Eaters' Legion was the first legion to betray the Imperium.
But after embracing Chaos, the 'world Eaters' fragmented.
This was literal; from its original legion form, it split into numerous Chaos Warbands, all originating from the 'world Eaters', but through ten millennia of continuous warfare, they had long integrated many other new forces, differing greatly from the original world Eaters.
The Chaos Warband invading Roselle, though from the world Eaters Legion, had a new name: the 'Blood Skulls' Warband!
Not long ago, they had ambushed a passing Astartes Chapter in the Warp.
Unexpectedly, they failed.
Not only did they suffer heavy losses, but they also incurred the displeasure of the 'Blood God' for it.
To regain honor, Pyrazas, the leader of the Blood Skulls Warband, voluntarily accepted another mission, leading his Chaos Warband to descend upon Roselle, as instructed by the 'Blood God'!
This was a great undertaking to regain honor and have the Blood God bestow his blessing once more.
However, just as Pyrazas was fantasizing about giving those 'Ultramarines' without balls a little surprise during the upcoming boarding action.
The Chaos Astartes on Roselle's surface gave him a big surprise in advance!
An alien warship, appearing from unknown origins, suddenly attacked the Chaos Astartes on the surface; as it carried no heavy equipment and lacked fire support, the three hundred-plus airborne Chaos Astartes suffered heavy losses under its air-to-ground strikes!
Upon seeing the battle report, Pyrazas nearly had a hypertension attack.
Over three hundred Chaos Astartes were directly decimated by more than half in just two or three rounds of artillery strikes!
"What the hell is going on?!"
Pyrazas was both shocked and enraged; that was the combat strength of three entire companies, and it was wiped out by more than half just like that?
"Leader, we don't know either!"
The pilot was also completely bewildered.
Where did such a large alien warship come from?
"Shoot it down for me!!!"
Pyrazas' heart was bleeding.
Chaos Warbands were not easy to manage; if one was even slightly weak, it could be targeted by other Chaos Warbands for a raid, resulting in heavy losses at best, or complete annihilation at worst!
To salvage the 'Blood God's' disappointment, he had invested heavily this time, deploying all seven companies of the warband!
Yet, the war had just begun, and nearly half of his Astartes from three companies were wiped out in one engagement; who could he complain to about this?
With such heavy losses, if he couldn't complete this mission and receive the 'Blood God's' blessing, upon returning to the Warp, either his warband would be absorbed by others, or he would be cut down by his subordinates.
Don't assume Chaos Warbands have many rules; after all, everyone has pledged to Chaos, so what rules could there be?
Whoever is stronger is the boss!
With such heavy losses, if he didn't make up for it, even if the 'Blood God' and other Chaos Warbands didn't bother them, his own men would flay him!
"Prepare to board!" Pyrazas suppressed the anger in his heart, still intending to deal with the most threatening target.
He glared viciously at the Strike Cruiser belonging to the Ultramarines' Watchers sub-chapter, floating in orbit, as if it were his enemy from earlier, and growled: "Slaughter those ball-less things for me, the Blood God will bless us!"
Whether the Blood God would bless them, he didn't know.
But Pyrazas knew he had to do something, otherwise the malevolent gazes of the surrounding Astartes were truly unbearable for him.
After all,
If the losses were traced back to their origin, the fundamental reason was his command error; he hadn't even noticed the alien warship!
Fortunately, although the other Chaos Astartes were restless, Leader Pyrazas' deterrent power was still present, and they obediently boarded the boarding torpedoes.
"Blood God protect us, please let everything go smoothly from now on!"
This was Pyrazas' most fervent prayer in his life.
If they couldn't even take down half a company of Ultramarines, he dared not imagine how the 'Blood God' would view them; he'd probably be so ashamed he'd kick them out directly.
The other Chaos Astartes clearly understood this as well, all screaming with effort as they boarded the boarding torpedoes, and after the warship approached a suitable distance, they initiated a new round of boarding today!
A good day, starting with boarding!
"Captain Albert, we've found something interesting." The Chapter Priest, leading several Tech-Priests, entered the command room, an unshakeable smile on his face, as if he had some happy news.
"Didn't I tell you to investigate that world Roselle?" Albert frowned slightly. He didn't care about anything interesting; he only cared why the great Allfather and Russ would guide his Chapter to this place!
The Allfather and Russ must have some profound meaning!
But for the safety of the entire company, Albert did not immediately approach the world; instead, he had the Tech-Priests investigate the data.
As a result, the Priest came up with this.
Looking at Albert's serious expression, the Chapter Priest was not afraid. Instead, he handed over the newly obtained intelligence: "My brother, I guarantee this is good news."
Albert took a look and was immediately surprised: "The heir to the Merlin Merchant Dynasty is suspected to be on this world?"
The first line of intelligence listed the distress signal of 'Arthur Emrys.' Such a large-scale rescue operation for one person made the reason easy to guess.
"Look further down."
The Chapter Priest stifled a laugh, seemingly eager to see Captain Albert's expression.
"The Watchers Chapter… are they Ultramarines?" Albert's brows showed a hint of impatience; clearly, he didn't think much of those blue boys.
"What a Roselle!"
But when he saw the intelligence about the world's surface, even this veteran who had served for three hundred years couldn't help but click his tongue: "Suspected alien, confirmed Khorne, Tzeentch's daemon armies, and Daemon Engines, Hell Drakes. It's truly a ran!"
"Not only that, look again, there's also an 'old acquaintance' of ours." The Chapter Priest deliberately emphasized his tone.
Albert looked down, and his eyes immediately gleamed. He was like an enraged wolf, exuding a chilling killing intent that made those around him tremble: "Good, good, good. I didn't expect that after such a long detour, we'd run into them here again!!!"
At the end of the intelligence was none other than the 'Blood Skull' warband!
They were the damned heretics who ambushed them in the Warp. Albert had never swallowed that insult, but he had no choice but to let them go once.
He didn't expect to run into them here again!
This truly was… Russ' blessing!
"Captain, what should we do?" The Chapter Priest smiled, asking knowingly, "Should we reinforce the Ultramarines? Even though we've never really gotten along."
"Hmph, do you even need to ask?"
Albert sneered, yelling at the person next to him: "Bring me my power claw! Tell all the wolf cubs in the company that it's time for revenge. Let those Ultramarines see who the true warriors are!"
"Captain Albert, should we go directly?"
The Tech-Priest piloting the warship asked.
"Full speed ahead, ram them!!!"
Albert stretched his neck, a grim smile on his face: "Blood Skull, huh? I'll go personally and twist off their leader's head!"
He wanted to show the Ultramarines' cubs what it meant to be a Son of Russ, what it meant to be a Space Wolf in combat!
Operations, I'm not good at.
But when it comes to fighting, you can stand aside!
Pyrazas of the 'Blood Skull,' who was just about to board, heard the alarm from the side of the ship!
"Warning! Warning!"
"What happened?!" Pyrazas turned his head sharply, asking the pilot controlling the warship.
"It's bad, Chief!!!"
However, the pilot shouted in horror: "It's… it's… the 'Fang of the Frost Wolf' cruiser! They're on our broadside, approaching at high speed!"
"What?!"
'Fang of the Frost Wolf' was the name of the strike cruiser they had ambushed in the Warp. Pyrazas racked his brain but couldn't figure out how those people had tracked them down!
But he was running out of time!
One must know, the keel ram on the battleship's top was made of reinforced adamantium. If it hit, even if this cruiser wasn't crippled, it would become a sitting duck!
"Evade! Evade now!"
Pyrazas roared at the operator to evade.
But it was too late!
Albert had seized the moment when their attention was on the Ultramarines, secretly accelerating and ramming them, giving the Chaos Astartes no chance to react.
Boom!!!
The next moment, a violent tremor nearly overturned the entire ship. The huge keel directly pierced into the hull. Several unlucky Chaos Astartes, before they could react, were directly crushed into a pulp by the fierce Space Wolves, using their own ship!
Then, in the chaos, Albert, wearing his beloved power claw, took a huge leap and landed directly into the core of the enemy ship's deck: "In the name of the Almighty Allfather and Russ, kill all these scumbags!!!"
"Awooo—!!!"
Someone let out a wolf howl.
Soon, the Blood Skull Astartes, just recovering from the violent shock, saw Astartes wearing dark blue power armor, armed with power hammers, chainswords, power axes, and other such weapons, storming into their ship!
Captain Albert, leading the charge, along with the Chapter Priest, directly plunged into the depths of the ship.
"Only two people?!"
The Chaos Astartes were furious. They were a legion most skilled in close combat, and the enemy dared to break in directly, without any advantage. Wasn't this seeking death?
"I am the Blood Skull warband…"
Before he could finish speaking, the head of this unfortunate Chaos Space Marine was seized by a massive mechanical power claw. Albert sneered, and his five fingers suddenly squeezed shut!
Bang!
A Chaos Space Marine's head was thus easily crushed by him, and his body slumped to the ground.
"It's not you scumbags I'm looking for!"
The three-hundred-year veteran, Albert, was practically slaughter against these Chaos Space Marines!
The huge shield on his left hand perfectly defended against enemy attacks, while the power claw on his right hand was used with consummate skill, as deadly as a true wolf's claw!
Boom!
Suddenly, the wall next to the corridor was smashed!
A Chaos Space Marine rushed out, intending to deliver a heavy blow to Albert before he could react!
However, this Space Marine overlooked the Chapter Priest, who had been following Albert. The only Priest wearing wolf fur and dark black armor, his foot shot out like a cannonball!
Bang!
The Chaos Space Marine's arm was cleanly broken by the kick!
Then, before the Space Marine could scream, the Chapter Priest grabbed his head with one hand, slammed him to the ground, raised his huge foot, and stomped down hard!
Boom!
The Chaos Space Marine's helmet was directly crushed, his head turning into a red and White mixture of pulp.
After doing all this, the Chapter Priest acted as if nothing had happened, continuing to follow the Captain, occasionally pulling out a plasma gun to finish off a few stragglers.
Albert and the Priest almost fought their way through the entire corridor, arriving directly in front of the command room.
Albert, without a word, pulled out his plasma gun and fired a shot.
The scorching plasma cannon melted through the hardened hatch, revealing Pyrazas inside, still looking bewildered.
"Boy, your wolf Grandpa is here!"
Albert stepped inside with a sneer, his power claw emitting a terrifying disintegrating glow: "Are you planning to fight me one-on-one, or are you all coming at once?!"
Even at this point, Pyrazas' mind hadn't quite caught up. Weren't they supposed to be boarding? How, in the blink of an eye, had they become the ones being boarded?
And… are you F-ing cheating?!
Looking at the wolf pack's Grandpa, who had almost single-handedly torn through his entire defense line, Pyrazas was numb.
Who is Albert?
He is the most formidable First Company Captain of the Fang of the Frost Wolves Chapter. Even the Chapter Master, in a one-on-one fight without holding back, would likely not last ten moves against him. He is a truly unyielding powerhouse of the Chapter!
He once single-handedly killed a Greater Daemon of Khorne, a glorious feat, and has even infiltrated a Tyranid hive fleet alone. Among the Space Wolves, he is quite renowned.
How could such a formidable man be ambushed?!
Even the Chapter Priest couldn't help but mourn for those who offended Albert. This fierce warrior of the Wolf Chapter has never been a benevolent person!
As for Pyrazas, his heart was already half-chilled.
Gazing at the formidable Wolf Chapter warrior who suddenly burst into the command room, an adamantium round shield on his left arm, a power claw on his right, his figure burly and robust, wolf pelts draped over his power armor, and three gleaming golden studs on his forehead, he immediately thought, 'This is bad!'
Last time, when they ambushed the Fang of the Frost Wolves, despite having the advantage in numbers and the element of surprise, they still failed to defeat them, which already spoke volumes.
These Space Wolves... are quite fierce!
Now, their Company Captain, like a goddamn BOSS, had single-handedly torn through their defenses and directly entered the command room. How could Pyrazas not understand the disparity?
Setting aside everything else, just looking at the three golden studs on his forehead, he knew he was definitely no match!
But if he were to turn and run... Pyrazas could already feel the cold gaze from behind him. Needless to say... if he dared to turn and run, those restless subordinates would dare to cut off his head and hang it on the banner of the Blood God!
"In the name of the Blood God, I... Pyrazas Kuls, leader of the Blood Skulls warband of the world Eaters Legion, challenge you to a duel of honor and courage!"
Pyrazas looked at his ill-intentioned comrades, mustered his courage, drew his chainaxe, sighed inwardly, and then stepped forward, glaring at the formidable Wolf Chapter warrior.
"Not bad, you still have some courage!"
Facing a challenge, the Space Wolves never flinch. Even knowing it was a trap, the hot-tempered Albert still chose to accept: "In the name of the Allfather and Russ, I, Albert Amos, accept your challenge, heretic!"
The surrounding Chaos Astartes silently retreated a few steps.
The Chapter Priest's expression was normal, as if he was used to it. He also stepped back half a pace, and casually asked, "Captain, do you need a power hammer?"
"No."
Albert sneered, stretched his limbs, and hooked a finger at his opponent with the power claw on his right hand, saying with utter disdain, "I don't need a power hammer to deal with this trash!"
Too arrogant!
Pyrazas gritted his teeth, glaring furiously at Albert for underestimating him: "The Blood God is my witness, I will make you regret daring to look down on me!"
Bang!
The steel floor suddenly let out a loud bang.
As Pyrazas stamped his foot and exerted force, like a savage African elephant, his body dragged a bursting wave of air, suddenly crossing several meters. The chainaxe in his right hand roared mechanically as it chopped down with extreme speed!
However, though his movements were swift, in the eyes of the battle-hardened Albert, they were full of flaws. He raised his left arm's round shield, directly blocking the strike!
Clang!!!
The chainaxe struck the adamantium shield, sending out dazzling sparks.
The ear-piercing clash of metal exploded, accompanied by the air turbulent from the collision of powerful forces, filling the command room with a murderous aura!
"Little whelp of the world Eaters, is that all the strength you have?!"
Albert easily parried the axe. Not only did he not counterattack, but he even had energy to spare, laughing mockingly: "I don't think so. Why don't you just put a nail in your own head too!"
"Shut up!!!"
In front of a world Eater, mentioning that nail was the greatest insult. Even with Pyrazas' good temperament, his eyes turned red with anger.
He retreated half a step, this time gripping with both hands, and rotated half his body, increasing his strength with centrifugal force, furiously delivering a blur of a strike!
Albert's seemingly burly physique was actually extremely agile. He stepped aside, easily avoiding the opponent's powerful blow again, and then, with a fully powered swing of his right power claw, delivered a massive slap to Pyrazas' head!
Slap!!!
This slap made all the Astartes present involuntarily flinch. They actually saw a sonic boom!
It wasn't an illusion; it was a real, honest-to-goodness sonic boom!
And Pyrazas felt as if his head had almost flown off his neck. His helmet was shattered by the slap, and he was sent reeling, stumbling backward, seeing stars.
"Is that all you've got, you bastard?!"
Albert was entirely there to vent his anger. Without waiting for Pyrazas to regain his balance, he raised his leg and kicked him in the chest.
Bang!
Pyrazas was sent flying backward by the kick, crashing solidly into the wall. Then, before his brains had even settled, he suddenly felt someone grab his scalp and violently slam his head into the ground!
Bang!
His head made intimate contact with the ground, making Pyrazas spit blood, and several of his teeth flew out.
But Albert, filled with rage, had no intention of letting this damned heretic trash go so easily. Grabbing his head with the power claw, he dragged him across the floor like a piece of garbage, spun him around in a large circle, and then threw him against another wall!
Boom!
At this moment, Pyrazas deeply felt that the gap between him and his opponent was even greater than the gap between a human and an Astartes; they were simply not on the same level!
"Aren't you very powerful?"
Albert had no intention of letting this trash go so easily. He had been in the First Company for over three hundred years. Besides a few major campaigns, when had he ever suffered such a loss?
Being ambushed by a bunch of Chaos scum, resulting in the death of over twenty brothers, if he went back like this, wouldn't the old Chapter Master mock him to death?
If he could swallow this indignation, then he wasn't Albert!
"Get up, you bastard!" Albert grabbed Pyrazas by the head, treating him like a rag doll, flinging him back and forth, occasionally stepping on him. It was a complete one-sided Abuse!
"Leader!!"
The surrounding Chaos Astartes seemed unable to watch any longer.
No matter what, Pyrazas was their boss after all. To be rubbed on the ground like this by someone was simply too humiliating, wasn't it?
The already restless Chaos Astartes tried to gang up on him, but unfortunately... they were stopped by the black-armored Chapter Priest.
"Sorry, our Captain is having too much fun."
The Chapter Priest's voice was very calm, seemingly quite amiable, as he smiled and said, "I can't let you disturb our Captain."
"Get lost!!!"
The Chaos Astartes saw that there were seven or eight of them against only one opponent. Since they had the advantage, why bother talking nonsense with him?
Seven or eight Chaos Astartes all pulled out their chainswords, roaring "Blood God!" as they charged to avenge their leader.
"I'm talking to you nicely, and none of you are listening, are you?!" To their surprise, the Chapter Priest suddenly erupted, drawing his Crozius Arcanum and wielding it with incredible force!
Bang, bang, bang!
In a matter of seconds, he hammered one Chaos Astartes into a pulp.
Then, this Chapter Priest, with a sneer, took off his helmet. The three golden studs on his forehead made the Chaos Astartes feel as if they heard the call of the 'Blood God.'
Are you kidding me!!!
What kind of Chapter is this? Not only is the Captain a veteran of three hundred years, but even the Chapter Priest is a veteran of three hundred years!
"Do you think I became a Priest for nothing?"
The Chapter Priest held the Lectitio Divinitatus in his left hand and wielded his Crozius Arcanum in his right, appearing as a devout figure of physical absolution: "Chaos, is it? world Eaters, is it? Die, you bastards--!"
Chaplains, also known as Battle Priests, typically wear black armor and skull-faced helmets, fighting alongside their battle-brothers, chanting sacred battle litanies, and inspiring them to great deeds of valor.
But that is only in the eyes of their battle-brothers; to their enemies, they are terrifying 'daemons' in black power armor and skull masks!
Each Chapter has its unique beliefs, such as the Frost Wolf's Fang, whose gene-seed originates from the Fenrisian Space Wolves Legion, and they also have a unique title: 'Wolf Priests.'
Wolf Priests bear the dual responsibilities of Chaplains and Apothecaries, not using the standard medical equipment prescribed by the Codex Astartes, but rather healing serums and balms, knowledge passed down from previous generations of Wolf Priests.
At the same time, they frequently travel the harsh lands of Fenris, seeking out and selecting children with the potential to become the Imperium's most powerful warriors for their Chapter.
Of course, before becoming qualified 'Wolf Priests,' they are first 'excellent' warriors!
The Wolf Priest of this Chapter, wielding a seemingly short crozius arcanum, managed to smash the heads of the Chaos Marines one by one in less than a few minutes.
Then, he slowly picked up his skull helmet and put it back on: "Hey, why did you have to provoke me? I'm just a Chaplain."
As for Pyrazas, who was currently being thrashed, he felt a million curses running through his mind!
What kind of Chapter had he provoked? Besides the Company Captain, another Chaplain with three hundred years of service suddenly appeared. The probability of that was too low, wasn't it?
Although Pyrazas had guessed he might be thrashed before the battle began.
But what he never expected was that despite being blessed by the Blood God, he was still being ground into the dirt by the other party!
The disparity between them was a bit too exaggerated!
Are Space Wolves all this 'wild'?
"Enough—!"
Pyrazas, unable to bear the humiliation, increased his strength several times in a fit of rage and forcibly broke free from the control.
Although he had been brutally beaten for half a minute, his injuries were not actually severe; Albert was purely venting his frustration.
"Oh, that's a bit interesting." Looking at Pyrazas, who had broken free, Albert not only wasn't angry but a hint of joy appeared on his face, and he crooked the index finger of his power claw: "Yes, this is how it should be, let me see how much power you, a Chaos-worshipping brat, truly possess!"
One-sided brutality is boring; a true man should have give and take!
What?
Worried that 'Albert' would lose control and be counter-killed by a Chaos power surge?
The Chaplain stated that there was no need to worry, because there was still a living fossil on their strike cruiser; even if things went awry, they could still kill Pyrazas.
He put down his power hammer and no longer paid attention to the 'Company Captain's' situation. He knew very well that once the Company Captain got excited, it would probably take some time, so he turned to direct the other 'wolf cubs' to control the key positions of the Chaos ship according to the plan.
"Hmm?"
Suddenly, the Chaplain frowned slightly, discovering a communication from the 'Watchers.'
Upon opening it, the projection revealed the long-unseen 'Raymond.' The two Chapters had cooperated several times before, but due to their differing philosophies, their relationship was not very harmonious.
"Oh, isn't this Company Captain Raymond?" The Chaplain took the initiative, his tone peculiar: "Long time no see, what a coincidence to meet you here?"
Raymond's expression was a bit odd, after all, during the last mission, he had argued with the other party's Company Captain.
The reason was that the Space Wolves simply did not abide by the rules and regulations of the Codex Astartes; they treated the Codex Astartes as toilet paper.
As a result, in the end, they were saved by the other party.
But, then again, as a 'cub' of the Ultramarines, Raymond still had some pride.
Despite his reluctance, he still solemnly thanked the other party: "This time, thank you all. Please convey my gratitude to Company Captain 'Albert.'"
He knew very well that if the 'Frost Wolf's Fang' hadn't intervened, their 'Watchers' would have suffered heavy losses. After all, only half a company was left on the ship, and almost all the Terminators had been dispatched to fight on the surface of Roselle. He had also left the ship for other matters, so facing the sudden boarding by Chaos, they would inevitably be caught off guard!
Therefore, no matter from which aspect, the Watchers owed the 'Frost Wolf's Fang' a favor.
"No need for pleasantries, let's talk about something practical."
The Chaplain chuckled, then, like a shrewd merchant, he revealed a smile that displeased Raymond: "The things you discussed with 'Merlin,' you'll give us two-thirds, no problem?"
"Andrea, your greed and shamelessness are colder than the ice and snow of Fenris!" Upon hearing this, Raymond's forehead immediately bulged with several veins, and he gritted his teeth, angrily saying: "How is your behavior any different from robbery?!"
"Of course there's a difference, my dear Company Captain Raymond."
Andrea smiled and said: "This is much faster than robbery, and besides, you are Ultramarines, almost wiped out by the world Eaters warband. If this matter gets out, it won't be our Fenris' face that's lost, it should be your Ultramar's face!"
He knew exactly how to manipulate the 'Ultramarines'; these guys really love their reputation!
See? Two sentences were enough to make Raymond 'red-hot'?
"Andrea, I overestimated your upbringing!"
Raymond gasped heavily, his eyes red in the communication projection, clearly infuriated by these few 'threats.'
Too damn shameless, is this really the face of a Space Wolf?
"Don't be so agitated, Company Captain Raymond." Seeing that the time was right, Andrea knew it was time to stop; if he continued, the negotiations would break down. So he coughed a few times and said seriously: "We need one-third of the spoils of war, is that okay?"
Raymond thought for half a minute, then nodded: "Alright, but you must also participate in this mission."
Since the Space Wolves were already here, it was impossible to drive them away, and besides, they had just been saved once. He didn't mind letting his brother Chapters share a piece of the pie.
At least, it was much better than giving it to certain parasites of the Imperium!
"Agreed so quickly?"
This time, it was Andrea's turn to be a little surprised, staring at Raymond suspiciously: "There isn't some trap on Roselle, is there?"
"..." Raymond was almost choked with anger; did his quick agreement mean he was wrong?
"Cough cough, sorry, I've been a bit poor lately." Fortunately, Andrea reacted quickly and immediately explained: "Don't misunderstand, it's not directed at you. So it's settled then, one-third of the profits will be ours. I'll have someone clean up and prepare to go down and provide support!"
Zzzzt!
As a result, Raymond on the other side was so angry that he didn't want to say another word to them and directly hung up the communication.
Andrea rubbed his nose, feeling inexplicably guilty, and turned to shout at the howling Albert: "Company Captain, it's all settled, one-third of the profits are ours. Quickly finish up here, let's go down and join the fun, otherwise, it'll be hard to explain to 'Merlin'' people later!"
Hearing the sound, Albert snorted coldly and, like lifting a chick, pulled Pyrazas out of the wall with his power claw: "Alright, got it. How's this ship doing?"
"Oh, you still remember to ask?" Andrea couldn't help but laugh, glancing at the command system, and replied: "This Chaos warband isn't very strong, it's just right for a few newcomers to learn. We've already occupied the engine room, weapons, and storage areas."
Pyrazas, whose neck was being squeezed by the power claw, was filled with frustration and regret. Why did he have to provoke the 'Frost Wolf's Fang'?
If all the warband's forces were present, there might still be hope of resisting, but half of the warband's forces were thrown onto the surface and most of them were annihilated by the alien warship, and a portion of the remaining forces were sent into boarding torpedoes.
The result was that the boarding torpedoes hadn't even been launched before they were crushed into a pulp by the enemy's keel.
Back and forth, it meant that without doing anything, two-thirds of his warband's combat power was wiped out, and that's why he was being ground into the dirt.
Pyrazas wanted to cry but had no tears. If he had known it would turn out like this, he would have just defected to Tzeentch!
However, Albert was too lazy to care about his thoughts. He squeezed his power claw, and the crushing field directly crushed Pyrazas, letting his blood flow down and drip onto the deck of the ship's hold.
"Bring me the honor guard."
Albert, still looking like he hadn't killed enough, grinned ferociously: "Let's drop directly into the upper hive and kick all those damned heretic scum back into the Warp!"
Looking at the murderous Company Captain, Andrea silently prayed a few words for the heretics of Roselle in his heart.
He hoped it wouldn't be too brutal then, lest it scare that young man.
