Chapter 327 - Welcome!

"Traveler, you have arrived in a new world. Current stay duration: Unlimited."

"Current world exploration: 0%."

"This world is a small node and cannot be anchored."

"Permission Level: LV-5."

After a series of system prompts, Emrys finally awoke from a brief dizziness.

The first thing he did upon opening his eyes was to instinctively observe his surroundings—a good habit he had cultivated after several travel experiences.

It was a neat, bright, and clean office, with several operating mechanical arms visible through a large glass window.

The desk was piled high with neatly arranged files, and several monitors displayed rows of refreshing data.

From these small details, it was evident that the environment of this travel was quite good.

"Excellent, it's not a garbage dump this time!"

Emrys nodded contentedly.

He didn't know when it started, but every time he travel, this was his only small wish.

Immediately after, Winnie, Ilia, and Hilda gradually coalesced from a particle state into human form, appearing beside him.

Olson's company of Dark Angels remained on standby, as their room, at most eighty square meters, couldn't accommodate a company of Space Marines.

"This is…" Winnie's pale golden eyes seemed to hold confusion and bewilderment as she looked around, her delicate brows slightly furrowed.

"Is this what you meant by 'other Worlds'?"

"Exactly."

Emrys nodded.

Now, with his wings gradually grown, he no longer needed to completely conceal the secret of the 'Traveler'.

And Winnie, Ilia, and Hilda, like Jackal and the others, had earned his trust, so there was no need to hide it anymore.

Besides, with his numerous disappearances, the three of them had probably already guessed something.

"I see."

Winnie nodded slightly, then glanced at him.

"You used this trick to escape from the daemon factory in Roselle back then, didn't you?"

Emrys smiled but remained silent, turning to observe the reactions of the other two.

Hilda looked left and right with curiosity, like an inquisitive child, while Ilia, upholding her 'Silent sister' vow, stood by his side, alert for danger, though excitement and curiosity were evident in her eyes.

"Hmm, and then?" Winnie raised an eyebrow, looking around as she asked, "What do we do next?"

"Hmm—let me think."

Recalling his previous experiences, Emrys generally knew that the location of each travel was highly and closely related to the 'plot', so they just needed to wait.

"Let's find some clues first." He picked up a document from the desk and had the servo-skull translate the text.

"What exactly we need to do, we'll only know after we determine our location and what happened here."

The data showed that this was a universe spacecraft used for mining, a mining mission carried out by CEC (Concordance Extraction Corporation) and the United Earth Government on world 'Aegis VII'.

"Mining?"

Emrys stared at the data, lost in thought.

"What's wrong?" Winnie noticed his unusual behavior and asked.

"No, nothing—" Emrys' gaze was a bit strange, falling on the words CEC..

"It just feels a little familiar, like I've seen it somewhere before, but I can't recall it right now."

There was no help for it; with so many complex memories from his past and present lives, it was difficult to deduce specific information from such a small clue.

"Current world exploration: 5%."

The Traveler gave a timely prompt.

Emrys was slightly surprised; a mere company name could increase the exploration by 5%.

He had never experienced such a thing before.

But this also indirectly proved that the exploration difficulty of this small node world was not that great.

The servo-skull scanned the documents here and found that they were all mining records, with basically no useful clues, and the computer was offline, preventing access to the main system.

"Alright, there's nothing to see here."

Emrys shook his head, then said to the three, "Let's go out and see if there are any useful clues."

However, upon reaching the bulkhead, they found that the passage gate was completely sealed.

And it was with the highest clearance.

"Strange." Emrys was a bit puzzled.

The facilities here were intact and clean; why would it need to be sealed off?

Or did something like a biological leak happen here, causing the section to be sealed?

"Let me!"

Hilda volunteered, rolling up her sleeves, her face full of excitement.

"It's been a long time since I had a chance to move.

It's just a broken door; can't I just kick it open?"

The two-meter-tall Hilda directly lifted her long, slender leg, the taut muscles and rounded curves truly eye-catching.

Of course, Emrys didn't dare to look too much.

Bang!!!

With a loud crash, the heavy bulkhead door was kicked in by Hilda, leaving a deep indentation in the steel, and it flew straight out.

"Amazing!"

Emrys gave a thumbs-up, thinking, "As expected of the most martial branch of the Eldar; I Emrys declare you the strongest in taijutsu!"

But when the bulkhead was kicked open, the scene that met his eyes made Emrys freeze.

The lights flickered and buzzed as if short-circuited, and oil and liquid dripped from the transport pipes on the passage ceiling.

In the dim and mixed light, a few slogans, like 'Efficiency is life', could barely be seen.

"This section is the lower maintenance area, B-321." The servo-skull connected to the section control panel and scanned their current location.

"There's a smell of blood."

Winnie's sense of smell was keen, and her pale golden eyes, like sharp swords, focused on the bulkhead at the end of this lower section.

"I'll lead the way."

In such a narrow location like a section, Ilia did not choose her greatsword but pulled out a punitive crossbow, checked it, and slowly moved forward.

"Good."

Emrys nodded.

Thus, the formation changed: Ilia in front, Emrys and Winnie in the middle, and Hilda bringing up the rear.

Beep!

As the identity verification passed, the section bulkhead opened.

"Roar—!!!"

Almost without warning, a roaring, screaming shadow suddenly lunged at Ilia, who was at the very front, from behind the opening bulkhead.

If it were a normal person, they probably wouldn't have time to react and would be tackled by the shadow, but Ilia was far from normal.

She was a Silent sister!

She remained calm in the face of danger, grabbing the shadow by the neck with her bare hands, swinging it with force, and throwing it onto the pipes on the section wall.

Her right hand aimed the crossbow, pulled the trigger, and the arrow shot out!

Whoosh!

Carried by The Message, it pierced the brain of the struggling shadow, pinning it firmly to the pipe as blood gushed out.

The entire process took less than a second.

However, the shadow, whose brain was pierced by the crossbow bolt, continued to roar, wildly flailing its two extremely twisted, seemingly stretched arms, trying to grab Ilia.

It turned out to be a 'human'.

Only now, he was vastly different from a human.

His abdomen looked as if it had been disemboweled, skin and flesh turned inside out, revealing two scythe-like limbs, and his two arms had become horrifying, like cheap mantis blades, with sharp bone blades stained with viscous blood!

"Hmm?"

Ilia was slightly surprised, but her movements didn't stop.

She clenched her fist, gathered strength, and punched.

Crack!

The thing's head was shattered.

Red and white matter flowed, but what was shocking was that its body was still moving, as if immortal!

"What is this thing?"

This time, Ilia was truly shocked.

How could a creature whose head was shattered still move?

But Emrys stared closely at the monster's appearance, a flash of inspiration in his mind, and dormant memories resurfaced.

"Its weakness is at the limb joints; break its limb nodes!"

As his voice fell, Ilia drew her greatsword and cleanly severed the limbs of the still roaring and struggling monster!

This time, the monster finally stopped moving.

"I already know where this is." Emrys pinched his brow; such obvious features had also awakened his former 'nightmares'.

"This is the 'Ishimura'!"
