Aiden stood there, frozen, unsure… his mind drifted from one thought to another. " How could she have possibly known my secret, was I dream talking or whatever it is they call it… how could she have possibly know that I merge with Annihilator"
"In case you're wondering how I knew about your so-called secret, I suspected long before you woke up, I had a feeling that a cosmic entity can't just disintegrate without a cause, and the headache? It verifies my assumption" Sera responded, almost like she could read his mind.
"No, this is a reverse mind trick, she is trying to see if I actually merge with the Annihilator, I'm not that stupid to fall into such an obvious trap" Aiden thought to himself.
"What… do you mean merge, is that even possible, to merge with a cosmic entity?" Aiden feigned ignorance towards Sera's question.
One could tell from the look of Sera's face that she is not falling into such pretense. ," Aiden, I understand you have trust issues, but don't make me force you to spill the truth" Sera responded with rather a cold tone, her expression suffocating the pretense of Aiden, making him rethink the idea of lying to her.
" Look, I'm done playing you guys game, first I helped you all get information from a cosmic entity that destroys the potential for life, now you think I'm in partnership with such a being?" Aiden responded with a serious anger and high tone, and an ordinary man would have bought the perfectly staged rage as he stormed out of the bed.
Sera didn't flinch,not even a whisper of a wince. She stood her ground as if rooted there, while her rage paced behind her ribs, offering up possible outcomes like sharp little gifts. Her head bowed in disappointment, and a long purple hair fell forward, veiling her face like a mourning cloud. Then she exhaled,deep and slow—and that heavy breath nudged her hair awake, sending it floating for a breathless moment before letting it settle back into stillness.
" Sigh… I guess we have to do this in a hard way" She says silently that Aiden couldn't have heard what she said.
In seconds, she unleashed a green fireball,a snarling bloom of fury—straight at Aiden. But before the flame could claim him, he spun into a backflip. The fireball hissed past the curve of his spine, missing him by a whisper, and slammed into a large seated bookshelf behind him. The old shelf groaned once, then surrendered completely, its body exploding into crumbles that rained down on Aiden,dusting him as he lay still on the floor.
" Jesus Christ!" Aiden exclaimed, looking at Sera who has no sympathy in her face, that one could clearly know that she doesn't care whether he lives or dies.
In a moment, she was a few yards away from him, and then in a blink of an eye, she was already behind him. Before Aiden could react or try to stand up from where he was sitting, she grabbed his neck from behind and threw him at the wall near the entrance. Aiden crashed at the wall in a brute force that caused a crater on the wall.
" If you still think you need to survive and live to fight another day, start talking" She responded as both of her hands were set up in green flames, then charged towards Aiden.
"You have to believe me Sera, I didn't merge with the Annihilator, I'm sincere, he dis…" Aiden felt a sharp punch on his stomach, a powerful punch wrapped up in green flames that sent him crashing on the walls. Aiden is seen groaning in pain and coughing out blood, Sera is seen walking through the crumbled walls from one room to another, towards Aiden.
" Sera… you've got to believe me, what you're doing is insane" Aiden groans as he still tries to convince Sera who doesn't seem to be convinced or look she would be.
" You are quite persistent, I'll give you that… I'll believe you… once you're dead" Sera responded, without hesitation she charged at Aiden, who was still lying helplessly on the floor.
"When I'm dead? She doesn't look like the type that'll take no for an answer, what would I do " Aiden thought to himself, thinking of what to do, confused and scared. Then Annahilator's voice invaded.
" What would you do what a slug you are… we teach her a lesson, on a cosmic scale, she is nothing but a pest that could cause not even a dent on your hair"
In a matter of seconds, Aiden's eyes sparked with lightning. While Sera is almost at him, she loses sight of him… He was no longer where he was lying, in a second. That not even Sera's eye could track his movements.
" He right here just a second ago, where is he… that scum, I knew he was hiding som…" before she could finish what she was saying, Aiden appeared behind her with a cold expression. She was shocked, unable to react.
Aiden held her neck and threw her through the ceiling, she was sent, crashing through the ceiling but the last layer of the ceiling wall was protected by a spell that bounced back to the surface, but Aiden was standing there, waiting for her to come meet him on the surface, but Sera opened a portal and she hurled right inside and appeared few feets away from him.
She tried to stand firm, to root herself to the ground like before—but her legs betrayed her. Somehow, she sank to her knees. Not from exhaustion. Something heavier pressed down on her: a dominating aura, ancient and cruel, that wrapped around her shoulders like a king's hand forcing a subject to bow. His eyes glowed blue. But then Annahilator's voice came right through him.
" You dare lay your hand on my vessel" Annahilator groaned in anger as he moved towards Sera whose head had already been brought to bow before Annahilator's might.
Sera is seen sweating profusely, gasping for air, hyperventilating. " What is this, is this the true form of Annahilator?, how is this even possible?" She thought to herself.
"No, I won't be brought down like this," she thought to herself, then her eyes glowed with green flames and her hands blaze with massive green flames, then the whole room was lit up with flames, Then the room imploded, everywhere caught fire.
Then the smoke began to clear little by little, then she emerged from the smoke, half of her clothes had been torn apart, she was barely walking properly, almost passing out, then she saw Aiden lying on the floor, coughing.
Then Aiden caught sight of her shadow that enveloped him, one could tell from his expression that he had admitted to the accusation. " We need to talk," Aiden says silently , looking at her with a guilty expression.
