Chapter 1 - Panic Attacks

From my perspective on these tragic things that happen to people, panic attacks are scary. Some may fear it, some may be terrified, some crazy may enjoy it. These sudden attacks make your head feel like your banging it on a concrete wall, attempting to break it. It's your hands sweating like a dam is about to fall from your palms. It's a sudden heat on your back like someone threw a hot iron on your back. It's your heart throbbing, yearning for something but you don't know what. It's feeling terrified of the dark yet finding solace in being in it. It's wanting someone to be with you, but wanting them not to look at you. It's your feet aching, wanting to drop down to your knees. It's wanting to not feel anything. These stupid, stupid things that happen to us, hurts. No one will know how we feel. Not even people who go through the same attacks as us. No. They won't know what we yearn for, who we want to be with us. Heck, we don't even know what we want. Yet we feel as if we're about to die, you want to claw your heart out you want to scream only to let out a muffle cry. And only after you "control your breathing", will it all go away. Leaving you fine and alright. You may feel stupid feeling what you felt. Or stupid thinking what you thought. Yet when it happens again, you go in that endless cycle, just because your brain remembered something or thought something in a specific way. Or worse, it comes out of nowhere, you're terrified and don't know what to do. And now you're scared to get it again, randomly. This is my view on panic attacks. There is much more that needs to be said, yet my vocabulary and skills are not yet strong nor capable of explaining.
