Despite his many abilities, Doctor Strange was utterly powerless against the Void Sentinel in its full-power state.
His dark book was quickly torn to shreds, his cloak was burned away, and his body turned into chunks of flesh.
After killing Doctor Strange, the Void Sentinel quickly turned to look at the nearest person, Doctor Doom.
When Doctor Doom realized that he had been noticed by the Void Sentinels, he immediately turned to look at Thanos, who had almost disappeared.
"Save me! I'm willing to give anything!"
But Thanos had already made up his mind not to waste his points, so how could he possibly turn back?
Moreover, even if they saved Doctor Doom, they would still be from two different universes, so how could they be his subordinates?
A short while later, Doctor Doom was killed, and the Void Sentinels then set their sights on Moon Knight.
Thanos, being the furthest away, was naturally the last to notice.
A few minutes later.
A sudden burst of energy fluctuations occurred around the remains of Ultron.
As time rewound, Ultron's corpse began to regenerate, and then he opened his eyes.
This move is the same one Doctor Strange used against Dormammu.
Set a time rollback point and then return yourself to that time period.
However, Doctor Strange had the help of an unknown entity, which is why he was able to resurrect indefinitely.
That's why he never used it again after that.
However, Ultron had consumed his own energy, so after recovering, he immediately appeared weak.
Looking at the Void Sentinel fighting Moon Knight in the distance, Ultron said with a grim expression, "Why is this guy still in this universe?"
Just then, a voice suddenly rang out behind him.
"Do you think faking your death can fool those beings? If you don't die, of course the Sentinel won't go back."
Upon hearing Thanos's voice, Ultron was immediately taken aback.
What are you doing here?
A tall, purple figure suddenly appeared behind Ultron; it was Thanos.
"I'm here, of course, to kill you."
As he finished speaking, Thanos's world-destroying power surged, and he slashed down with his sword.
Damn it!
With an angry shout, Ultron's newly restored body was cut in half again before he could even resist.
Moreover, under the destruction of the world-destroying power, his vibranium-made body began to slowly disintegrate.
Unwilling to die, Ultron's body began to glow with green light.
This is to prepare to reactivate the Time Gem's time rewind function.
But since Thanos knew that the other party would use the Time Stone, how could he not be on guard?
He quickly reached out his left hand, grabbed the Time Stone from Ultron's chest, and pulled it off.
"No!"
With Ultron's unwilling shout, the Time Stone was quickly taken by Thanos.
Without the Time Stone, Ultron's body split in two again, having previously consumed a large amount of energy to rewind time.
He had no ability to resist anymore and was quickly cut into pieces by Thanos.
Then, under the power of destruction, it turned into dust.
Thanos then immediately took Ultron's six Infinity Stones.
But as soon as he got his hands on the six Infinity Stones, he sensed something was wrong.
Of the six Infinity Stones, apart from the Mind Stone, the other five quickly dimmed, seemingly no different from ordinary Infinity Stones.
Looking at the still-shining Mind Gem, he suddenly seemed to have an epiphany.
This Mind Stone appears to possess a portion of the origin of the Infinity Stones.
Just as I thought.
As a multiverse-level power, the Infinity Stones should possess multiverse-level characteristics, namely, uniqueness.
However, the Infinity Stones exist in every multiverse, and can only be used within their own universe.
The only explanation is that Nemesis continued to plot other schemes even after her death.
Therefore, the Infinity Stones were placed throughout all universes, but a portion of the original power was preserved in some individual Infinity Stones.
While it is unknown how many Infinity Stones retain their original power, this original power gives the Infinity Stone the ability to be used in all universes.
This also explains why Ultron could use a Mind Stone to launch a laser attack that directly cut Thanos, who possessed five Infinity Stones, in half.
You should know that the Mind Stone is for controlling others, not for attacking.
This also explains why Ultron was able to see the Watcher and beat him up as soon as he got the Infinity Stones.
The question is whether, after collecting all the Infinity Stones, Nemesis will be resurrected, or whether one will inherit Nemesis's legacy.
If it's the latter, that's fine; if it's the former, he still needs to be careful.
After all, he didn't know whether the Goddess of Nemesis was friend or foe.
Just as Thanos was still pondering, a pentagonal portal suddenly appeared behind him.
The next instant, he felt a tremendous suction force.
He understood that this was because Ultron's death had ended the mission, and therefore the portal had appeared.
So he didn't resist the suction and was quickly sucked in.
Instantly, he felt that the space-time around him was in chaos.
Time and space seemed to have lost their meaning, and chaos reigned supreme.
But this time, holding the Mind Stone, he seemed to sense a subtle pattern within the chaos.
However, before he could figure it out, he left this chaotic space.
Looking at the glittering universe around him, and the Infinity Stones on his Infinity Gauntlet beginning to shimmer.
He instantly realized that he was back.
But it's strange, wasn't I in Temple Two when I left? How come I'm in the vacuum of space now?
And how did Earth and the Sun get so far apart?
Upon seeing the sun in the distance, he suddenly understood something.
The God of Death must have used the Milky Way galaxy as a coordinate to teleport him back to where he left off.
But stars and planets can move.
For example, the sun travels at a speed of about 220 kilometers per second, and revolves around the center of the Milky Way.
So, in just half an hour in another universe, the sun and Earth have already traveled this far.
Just as he was about to head to Earth, his consciousness suddenly plunged into darkness.
He knew that the god of death had arrived.
Sure enough, after a while, the figure of the God of Death appeared before his eyes.
The god of death still looked as alluring as ever, holding a scythe in his hand and a smile playing on his lips.
She was clearly in a good mood.
This left Thanos puzzled.
How can you be happy when you've already killed the opponent's pieces?
The god of death didn't give him much to think about and quickly spoke.
"That's right. Although you killed Ultron, you also allowed the Void to emerge, depriving those guys of an important pawn. You could say you made amends for your actions."
As soon as she finished speaking, a surge of death energy appeared in her hand and flowed into Thanos's body.
After sensing the power of death, Thanos felt a strange sensation.
Ultron killed the Hulk, causing the Void to appear, so why was he rewarded?
...
In Universe S.
After the Void Sentinels were also teleported back to their own universe, the universe returned to peace once more.
And in places where no one notices.
A mass of purple flesh began to slowly writhe…
