The next few minutes were spent on the voice explaining the flow of things to Alan— about his system and how to open the panel, about safe zones, potential loot areas, and...
"Oh and also, you might wanna stay away from any dark caves, and I suggest you find torches, cos the night is quite troublesome for newbies", the voice said with a sigh as Alan mentally made notes of everything that the voice in his head warned about.
"By the way, who are you?", Alan asked, showing a bit of restraint as he was about to rephrase the question–
"Can't tell you much about myself for now, but call me brian,or brine, anyone's fine I guess", brian said as he paused, then, as if remembering something, he spoke one last time.
"I almost forgot to give you the beginner chest, my bad". Brian said as the spectral hand emerged from thin air, holding a wooden chest with gold lines running along the edge with an eagle crest on it.
"Oh, thanks, I...guess", Alan said, unsure whether he should be happy or not about the new development as he opened the chest.
The chest shone brightly as ten items appeared on the ground shocking Alan as he scanned through all of them.

Brian's eyes went wide with shock as he didn't expect this level of luck at such an early stage for Alan."Have you maxed your luck stat, cos this level of luck is insane for a newbie", Brian exclaimed, letting Alan know that such a level of luck was nearly unheard of at such an early stage.
Alan on the other hand, was utterly confused as none of the rare items could be used by him due to his current level being pitifully low. "Bruh you realize that I can't use these right? My level is too damn low to use it, which begs the question, where can I start hunting monsters anyway?", Alan asked, slowly getting fond of Brian being around him spectral-wise.
" There's a goblin nest 20 miles away from here tho, you might wanna start moving cos at this rate, you're gonna be easy prey for the monsters at night ", Brian said with a sigh as Alan felt a chill creep up his spine only to find a green humanoid creature with yellow eyes staring at him from outside the safe zone with malicious intent.
"Is that a–. "Yes, it's a goblin scout", Brian said as Alan equipped his worn iron shortsword and dashed towards it, expecting a battle as he was currently weak in stats and overall battle power but surprisingly...
SLASH!!!
And the goblin's head rolled to the floor, spraying green blood in an arc.
Alan was shocked, he expected a fight, probably some resistance, but he cleanly beheaded the goblin with a single swipe of the old shortsword. And a notification chimed in his head.
[Ding! You have slain a 'goblin scout'
[You have gained exp...
[You have levelled up!!!
Alan was dumbfounded.
Just by killing a single goblin, the weakest at that, had levelled him up.
But his expression was short lived.
A horn blared in the distance, followed by a slow advancement of dark green figures that gathered in hundreds, no, THOUSANDS, all headed towards Alan.
"Sheesh, I take back my compliment, you're filled with bad luck Alan, you might wanna consult a shaman or something...", Brian said as he clicked his tongue in something that sounded somewhere between regret and amusement all together.
Seeing the advancing tribe of goblins approaching him slowly but with so much malice made it known to him that there was no room for negotiation.
Suddenly the system chimed softly in his head.
[Ding! New quest:defend your safe zone.
[Reward:5 attribute points
[Failure:loss of safe zone and reset respawn point.
"Great, even more confusing items", Alan said to himself out of pure sarcasm, curiously he opened his status panel with a thought.

Seeing that his stats went up by a bit and he levelled up, Alan took one last glance at the fragmented mana core description and sighed, noticing that it left his equipment section and moved to a new sub detail: status.
"Guess I'll have to learn it the hard way", Alan said as he pulled out the sword and the axe from his inventory and dashed at the horde of goblins which were also rushing at him with all their might.
——————Meanwhile————————
The world was a mix of colors, too bright and too dull altogether, unusual shapes intertwined and loosened at the same time, creating a perfect harmony of chaos as his eyes struggled to adjust to the world around him.
"Where am i?", Aaron asked, unable to see the world due to whatever was wrong with his eyes as he tried to clean it, only for a transculent panel to appear before him
[Processing.....
[Configurating....
After twenty seconds a new panel appeared before him.
[Congratulations! You have successfully been transmigrated into Minecraft!]

As soon as Aaron read those last words, a sharp pain rang through his skull, threatening to pierce it from the inside as blood spurted out of his nose, ears and eyes as a beam of pure dark crimson energy shot towards the sky, tearing through the clouds as it expanded, vaporizing the flying creatures nearby and superheating the air, causing it to distort. A mysterious notification flashed through his already damaged eyes, causing new streaks of blood to flow down his chin.
[The holy races have noticed a celestial darkness brimming...
[The holy inquisitions have taken notice of your presence!!!
[You are now an enemy of all holy races!!!...
Then another notification rang in his head.

[Y/N]
Completely confused about the new turn of events, Aaron mentally clicked yes, expecting a few changes here and there but it was different, in a bad way!!!.
Pain signals flared, each signal hitting the brain with so much mental force that made his head spin. Blood flowed freely from his eyes, blackening his irises as he went blind, his bones stretching with loud cracks and crunches as he yelled in pain, unable to resist as the screen showed progress of his alteration, not that he could see it but he could feel it faintly.
After thirty minutes of excruciating agony, the pain vanished as though it never existed, followed by a system notification.
"I can't see a damn thing, so much for alterations", Aaron cursed inwardly as all of a sudden the black blood on his iris evaporated like steam from his eyes, enabling him to see the system, but he closed it and looked around his surroundings only to find himself in a coastal area with other people of different races staring at him like he was a ghost, before he knew what was happening murmurs came from the surrounding races as some that were close to him instinctively stepped back.
"Did you hear, he's a high tier demon", a person whispered. "The holy inquisitions are about to place a bounty on him", another one whispered. "Then let's turn him in, we're gonna make some moolah", another race said, greed flashing in his eyes like a torch.
Another notification chimed in Aaron's head. He checked it, only to see a letter and a chest. The letter read:
Aaron, I'm sure you're aware that you're now labelled as an enemy of the holy races, so you might wanna stay away from light cities unless you're stronger than the city itself, although anything you want to do is up to you, I'd advise you to head to the dark factions, you'll be welcomed there, and if they don't accept you, tell them that zardon sent you.
The items in that chest are essential for your growth, at least until you hit A rank, I rigged it a little to keep you ahead of the competition. Ciao
When he looked at the system, he saw a pure black chest, dark energy swirling around the edges as if it were alive, with the face of the chest showing a monster skull that glinted with red eyes that seemed to look at him, giving him a slight chill down his spine.
Aaron closed the panel with a sigh and was about to open the chest when a flying kick hit his head, sending him crashing into the sand as a pack of adventurers swarmed him.
"Well what do we have here, a newbie thinking he's a big shot", one adventurer, taller than Aaron, holding a greatsword with a smug look on his face said, sneering as he kicked Aaron's stomach, forcing a gasp from Aaron's mouth as blood spilled from it.
"Tell you what,we'll let you keep parading yourself as a celebrity, all you have to do is to simply hand over all the items you got ",said a girl holding a bow that pulsed with faint floral energy while an arrow was drawn with the other hand.
"You don't wanna die on your first day do you, so just hand over all the items you got–
"So this is what the gathering is all about huh", Aaron groaned as he stood up, cleaning his mouth as a chest materialized into existence from his inventory and dropped to the ground with a thud.
"You want the chest, don't you, take it", Aaron said as he moved away from the chest." Wow, that was....easier than I thought, oh well, screw off, we promised you freedom right, you can fuck off now", the greatsword guy said while the band of adventurers approached the chest with their eyes blinded metaphorically by greed until one of them tried to open the chest but it didn't open.
He tried again and again, but it didn't open, the smug look on his face changed to a frown as the group turned back to face Aaron who was checking his system panel.

Seeing that pretty much everything about him that he needed to know was displayed on the system panel except for the race percentage difference, he closed it with a sigh only for a kick to hit his face, sending him back a bit as he looked up to see the upset faces of the bandit adventurers.
"The chest isn't budging, open it!", a girl equipped with a dagger snapped, looking at Aaron with clear disdain as she walked towards him with anger, aura glowing faintly around her as her daggers reflected the glint, giving it a reddish tint as she closed in on him while the rest of the group watched.
"I said open it, you damn bastard!!!", the girl yelled, her aura becoming increasingly terrifying as her daggers glinted maliciously, almost dripping with red aura.
Aaron sighed, walking up to the chest and picking it up, then handing it over to the girl with a smirk, he said, "Try again, you're a dark type assassin right, that means you should be able to open it, am i right?", Aaron asked, giving the chest to the girl who tried to open it and surprisingly, it worked...
Then a system notification appeared before her.
{The chest of the void has rejected you!!!}
That was the last thing she ever saw.
The red skull eyes on the chest flashed a bright red and a sharp crimson spike materialized into existence and stabbed her heart instantly, draining out her life force as a rift formed in the surrounding space while others ran off, some watched with horror from a distance while some were frozen in fear as the rift grew bigger and bigger, drawing out more of her life force, until...
Two dark claws grabbed the edges of the rift, stretching it while the rift itself resisted, as if pushing back whatever abomination lived beyond that rift, but the struggle was futile as every step the creature took out of the rift drained the girl faster, and then it finally tore through the rift, stepping out, and revealing a being that wasn't supposed to exist in Minecraft, killing the girl as she dropped lifelessly to the ground as an empty black husk, daggers clattering as they fell on the sand.
Then a new notification chimed in his head.
[Ding! You have slain d rank shadow assassin 'Lara parks'!
