*Once, an individual walked a path far away from nearby colonies of people alike. The land was distant, cold to mind, and quiet, not even the distant waves that washed on shore could be heard in the distance. The individual, whom held no name moved like a shadow, uneasiness crept over them like a constant threat. They remained vigilant, and observant. They eventually stumbled into a path of no return, the trees beginning to darken the path forward, like a cage that once you enter, you can never escape out. The no named individual paused, debating whether to go forward, or back to their homeland. But no, they couldn't. Their homeland was destroyed by a war of two nations with different ambitions. So, they had no choice but to walk forward, and forward they went, traversing through with nothing but the items they had on hand. Nothing can help them now.
Once they've reached deep enough, the trees that towered over began to cease and decrease, until eventually revealed a wide opening. It only had one building, a temple, but it sought to be abandoned, broken, and left behind to rot and fall info debris. The individual took a few steps forward, debating with their inner self if it was wise to enter and explore. The Temple seemed to be large, and vast..
After much consideration, they finally entered the temple, looking back to the forest, and thought if it was really a good idea to enter. Yet, they couldn't back down now,* they had to explore.*After exploring the deep and dark temple, they've stumbled lastly into an empty room with no furniture, yet strangely had no cracks nor any sign of abandonment. No cobwebs, no debris.. nothing.
The individual whom had no name, began to be on guard, they thought that perhaps someone was near, maybe was even watching. The unease crept over them like a dark shadow, consuming and unwilling to leave.*
**"The Temple's wish, the time's obedience, the holder's hourglass."**
*Those words were etched on the wall*
*Crackle. Crack. Fall*
*A sudden crack in the flooring appeared, the pathway in which lead out of the room was gone, replaced by another wall that seemingly had appeared out of nowhere.*
*The crack shook and appeared larger, as the floor caved in, it revealed nothing but a portal hidden underneath, it's shape resembling a clock, a ticking like it's hands.*
*The individual fell through, surprised, and dazed. Into a land, that would soon start their journey through misery, tyranny*
