Chapter 2 - 2 Episode :The Emergence of the Anomaly

He was looking at the dormitory as he walked around, amazed at how big the academy was.

This was his new reality, but he didn't know how to use it, as if using a second arm. It was instinctive.

Anyway, the dormitories were divided into four: first class, second class, third class, and fourth class. Each dormitory had four extra, enormous dormitories.

Kaiser calmly showed his badge to the attendant, entered, and headed toward the reception area ahead.

Hello, could I find out where my dorm is? A calm and beautiful voice was heard. At least, that's what Lakrak thought.

Lakrak, who was half human and half lizard, looked up and saw the man with black eyes. He flinched for a moment, but then immediately

collected himself and asked, "What is your name?"

I'm Kaiser, just Kaiser.

He looked at the papers in his hand, then turned to Kaiser and said, "Room 592, roommate Ash Lovbe."

He looked at the key in his hand, said "Thank you, sir," and walked away.

He looked at the key in his hand and thought that man's surname was probably that of a fallen noble, but still a noble. This hero academy was very large.

It was an academy where five people, the most powerful and strongest in the kingdom, declared themselves emperors and had the support of the first hero.

That's why people from every nation came here, from every kingdom and nobility, especially when looking at the constantly crowded places.

He walked slowly, and even this place for commoners was very luxurious as he passed through the corridors. How rich they were. Kaiser had only one goal in this world.

The story doesn't matter. He would build a harem, get as many beautiful women as he could, and become rich. That was all.

In this hell without the internet, only women could save him.

His steps brought him to the door. He turned the key and entered. The room seemed empty. Today had been a busy day. He had been through a lot.

The shock of stepping into a new world, the shock of everything, the shock of being in a fictional world.

He slowly closed his eyes and lay down on the lower bunk.

------Task-2-------

In the 1st level low stage of the core

Upgrade it to the next level

The reward is a magic ability based on your random attribute

--------------------

What's that sound?

Haa, Kaiser opened his eyes and looked where the sound came from. It was a crystal sound, or rather, magic technology in this world.

Technology was solved with magic, and some things were even better than in the modern world.

The sound crystal was something that recorded a sound. He was sure his friend upstairs had used it to wake up. He didn't know what time it was.

But since it was morning, it must be the first day of class, and since his friend upstairs was a noble, he was definitely in the same class as him.

He looked up at the top bunk and said, "Hey, wake up."

Ihmmmm

Pulling back the blanket and seeing that he was still asleep, Kaiser simply concentrated his energy into the tip of his finger and woke him up with a sudden burst of cold energy.

His eyes opened, and there was a long-haired, thin-lipped individual in front of him. This was the men's dormitory. Damn it, why was she so beautiful?

Rubbing his eyes for a moment, he looked at this woman or man. He remembered her name: Noble Ash Lovbe. Yes, he remembered. She was the character who helped the final boss in Part 1.

Her noble family, the Lovbes, had rejected her because she resembled a woman, and her father was ashamed of her. She was known for her blessing ability in the parts, and her blessing was definitely not bad. It was an ability with an A-level development potential. -- --Lust----- She looked at the man whose foot had risen

and felt the trembling of her younger sibling beneath him. She definitely understood why she possessed the Lust ability. She opened her eyes—pink heart-shaped eyes, a wide, feminine belly, wide hips, and white hair. Her roommate was definitely an incubus, but rather a highly skilled one.

However, her family had certainly lowered her status.

When Ash leaned over the edge of the bed, her silky white hair almost brushed Kaiser's face. The air in the room suddenly grew heavy, as if a sweet but dizzying perfume scent had spread through it.

"So it's time to wake up..." said Ash, her voice unusually soft and melodic for a man. "I'm Ash Lovbe. But you probably already know that, don't you? I can tell by the look in your eyes."

Kaiser turned his gaze to the window to escape the pink hearts in Ash's eyes and the natural magnetism he exuded. Damn it, Kaiser thought. Staying in the same room with this kid is going to be like taking a test of willpower every morning.

"I'm Kaiser," he said flatly. "Get ready. The first class is about to start, and I hear the B-class instructors don't like latecomers."

Ash chuckled softly and jumped out of bed. He wore only thin satin pajamas, and his movements were as graceful as a cat's. "B Class? Ah, so we're in the same class. It's rare for someone of low birth to be in Class B. I heard about your fight yesterday; you knocked out a snob like Elevore. So you don't need to be afraid of me; I'm not someone with a 'pure blood' obsession like him. My family kicked me out because of this... state of mine."

Kaiser quickly pulled on his uniform. The black, silver-embroidered jacket fit perfectly on his shoulders. He looked at himself in the mirror; his stern gaze and black hair created an image completely opposite to Ash's feminine beauty.

"Afraid?" Kaiser headed for the door. "I'm not afraid of anyone, Ash. I just don't want to waste my time. In this world... I mean, to rise in this academy, I need money and power."

Ash quickly put on his uniform and came to Kaiser's side. When they stepped into the corridor, the other students' eyes immediately turned to them. But this time, the stares were focused not only on Kaiser but also on the "beauty" beside him. The men looked at Ash with admiration, while the women looked at him with envy.

Kaiser and Ash reached the door of the massive, oak-paneled Class B classroom at the end of the corridor. The buzz coming from inside stopped abruptly the moment the door opened. The gazes of 120 students locked onto the door at the same time.

The moment Kaiser stepped inside, the atmosphere in the classroom instantly grew heavy. The vast majority of the students in the room were nobles, wearing silver and gold-embroidered cloaks, their noses in the air.

"Look at that..." a whisper rose from the back rows. "Is this the peasant who defeated Elevore yesterday?"

As Kaiser moved forward to find an empty seat in the classroom, the whispers grew louder:

"Even his uniform looks borrowed. What's a low-ranking 'Nameless' doing in Class B?"

"Look at his potential, just a B. Mine is an A-, but even I barely made it into this class. There's definitely something fishy going on, he obviously got in through connections."

"What did he do to get into the principal's good graces? Maybe he tricked Thorne with that weird black ice trick. But in a real battle, he'd be blown away with that flimsy defense on the first hit."

Ash chuckled softly in response to these words as he walked right behind Kaiser and leaned close to Kaiser's ear. "You see, Kaiser, everyone here sees you as a 'mistake'. Not having noble blood is the greatest sin for them."

Kaiser sat down in one of the middle seats without batting an eyelid. A large nobleman, sitting cross-legged at his table and cleaning his nails, deliberately stretched out his foot as Kaiser approached. "Hey peasant, you need a family tree to sit here. Go sit at the back with the people sweeping the floor."

Half the class laughed at this, but Kaiser stopped. He didn't even look at the man's foot. He fixed his gaze directly on the nobleman's eyes. At that moment, a void, a sign of destruction, seemed to appear in Kaiser's black eyes.

"Move your feet," Kaiser said, his voice ice-cold. "Or I'll freeze yours like I froze Elevore's bones yesterday. And believe me, my only privilege is my will to survive."

The class fell silent. Kaiser's dark aura had unsettled everyone for a moment, despite his "F" attack status. The noble young man involuntarily pulled his foot back when he saw that 'mad' glint in Kaiser's eyes, but trying not to show it, he muttered, "Peh, don't think you're something special just because you won by luck."

Just then, the door burst open, and a tall, disciplined-looking woman entered, holding a heavy spellbook. This was Professor Elara, the B-class magic theory instructor.

When Elara slammed her hand on the table, a deathly silence fell over the classroom. "Stop the gossip. Today is not a day for theory, but for practice. You will all go to the measurement stones in the field. Who is a fraud and who is a true genius will be revealed by the intensity of the magic you channel into those stones."

----------Task-3-------------

Even if your magic ability is average, the unique talent

of the DESTRUCTION element makes you quite powerful. Will you reveal your element

and make everyone target you, the anomaly,

or will you hide?

------------------------------

Hide

------------------------------

Your classmates are convinced you're cheating.

Your ability is randomly assigned to Level B.

------------------------------

Reveal

------------------------------

The class is uneasy about you, and some want to kill you.

Ash will take more interest in you.

------------------------------

The reward will be a DESTROY ability and magic energy at level B, and your magic power will increase by one level.

Kaiser looked at the system window glowing in front of him and the options for "Mission-3." The dismissive whispers in the classroom, the mocking laughter of Elevore's supporters, and Professor Elara's authoritative stance... It all felt like pressure bearing down on him.

"If I hide, these losers will really think I'm favored," Kaiser thought. "But if I reveal myself, this time the hatred and jealousy directed at me will turn into a target. Still... in this world, power is the only reality for survival."

Kaiser hesitated, but closed his eyes and touched the "Reveal" option in his mind.

Professor Elara led the class to the massive "Mana Measurement Stones" in the academy garden. These were ancient artifacts that measured a mage's core power and elemental purity.

When Kaiser pressed his palm against the cold surface of the ancient measuring stone, he felt the magic core inside him begin to spin wildly. At that moment, the system's warning flashed in his mind:

[WARNING: Destruction Element is activating. Crystal energy is destabilizing!]

The transparent energy inside the stone began to darken from the point where Kaiser touched it. Normally, a wizard's element would appear as a light or color within the stone (blue for Ice, red for Fire, etc.). However, Kaiser's energy was like ink, literally "staining" the pure magical liquid inside the stone.

Black veins spread throughout the crystal sphere. As cracks rose, these words appeared on the stone:

-- MEASUREMENT RESULTS --

Element: Pure Ice & [DESTRUCTION ANOMALY]

Purity Rate: 98% (Ice) / ???% (Destruction)

Magic Density: At the Limit!

The measurement stone couldn't withstand this density and began to crumble, literally turning to dust, starting from under Kaiser's hand. It wasn't an explosive fracture; it was like accelerated decay. Within seconds, the stone turned into a pile of gray dust.

The silence in the classroom was terrifying. Professor Elara murmured in shock: "This... This isn't an element. This is a catastrophe."

When Kaiser withdrew his hand from the dust, the system displayed his reward and current status:

-- CURRENT STATUS: KAISER --

Magic Power: B+ (Only 2 more "+" needed: B+B++ B+++ $\rightarrow$ A)

Magic Energy: C+

Attack: F

Speed: E

Stamina: F+

Defense: F+

NEWLY ACQUIRED ABILITY: [CANCEL DESTRUCTION] (B Upgradeable Level) Description: This ability nullifies magic structures (shields, magical weapons) that Kaiser touches by feeding them with "destruction" energy.

Kaiser smiled inwardly as he watched the black smoke in his hand dissipate. "I've reached B+ level. If I take a few more big steps, I can crush those nobles' 'A'-potential geniuses with my magical power."

At that moment, Ash crept up beside Kaiser. The pink hearts in her eyes were shining brighter than ever. "Kaiser..." she whispered, her voice trembling. "I saw what was inside that stone. You're not just using ice. You... you were born to erase everything that exists. It's unbelievably sexy."

When he looked at the person who had made this statement and was speaking, he thought to himself that this person was a man, and the destruction cancellation grew stronger.

But it was probably consuming a lot of energy and was useless for now. Probably 812 people had been eliminated. I estimate that 400 people passed.

120 nobles, 200 ordinary people, and the remaining 100 were other high-ranking people.

Kaiser tried to ignore Ash's strange compliment, but the stares from the rest of the class were no longer just condescending—they were pure contempt. No one knew he was an anomaly; anomalies are rare, but they're not hard to find.

As the gray dust from the shattered measuring stone swirled around Kaiser's boots, a figure rose from the front row of the class, his very posture radiating authority. This person was the noble Leonhardt von Kalt. With his sharp features, platinum hair combed back, and cold, gray eyes, he was the epitome of an "A" potential genius.

As Leonhardt strode toward Kaiser, the 120 students in the class held their breath. "Shattering the artifact, huh?" said Leonhardt, his voice low but as sharp as a knife. "Is this merely an uncontrolled display of power, or an outward expression of the rot within? It is unacceptable for an unknown to defile the academy's most sacred measuring stone with such vile energy."

Kaiser looked at Leonhardt and thought to himself, "Here's another arrogant noble genius." Leonhardt was not only a powerful wizard; he was the sole heir of the Kalt family, renowned for their strategic intelligence.

Ash stood right next to Kaiser, her pink-hearted eyes fixed on him despite the pressure Leonhardt exerted. "Kaiser... even the pure hatred Leonhardt radiates when he looks at you makes your aura more attractive," Ash murmured.

Kaiser ignored Ash's words and turned to Leonhardt. "Become tainted?" Kaiser said, mockingly. "Perhaps that stone grew tired of the same boring noble energies it had seen for a thousand years, and when it finally encountered true power, it couldn't resist."

An "ooh" rose from the class. For an "Unnamed" to respond like that to someone like Leonhardt was tantamount to suicide.

Leonhardt's eyes narrowed, the spear-shaped staff in his hand glowing faintly. "The line between power and anomaly is very thin, Unnamed. And you crossed that line long ago. Of the 812 candidates who entered the academy, 400 were eliminated. There is no place for a stain like you among the remaining 412."

Professor Elara raised her hand when she felt the icy pressure of Leonhardt's magic. "Enough! Leonhardt, return to your seat. Kaiser, I will prepare a report on your destructive energy, but for now, you are on the class roster. Remember, children, this is the most powerful academy of the five kingdoms. Anomalies are rare, but we have the discipline to crush them."

As the class returned to the classroom, Kaiser could feel the nervous glances of the 120 nobles and the remaining ordinary students. He was no longer just a "favorite," but an unknown "threat."

The important thing was that the lecture continued and the basics of the core subject were explained. I didn't know why he was so interested in it, but

it didn't matter to me. It was a nice feeling that he was a powerful individual with hidden potential. At noon, he went to the restaurant. More

precisely, to the restaurant where the scholarship was accepted. Even in the restaurant, there was a distinction. More precisely, the buffet was free.

Kaiser observed the humiliating hierarchy in the dining hall—the silver trays of the nobles and the stale bread of the outcasts like himself—with only a cold gaze. This world was a place where power was the only currency, and he did not yet have a seat at this table.

He finished his meal under Ash's endless, admiring gaze and began walking heavily toward the Shadow Root homeland. His mind was clouded; everything he had experienced in one day, the information the system had loaded onto him, and the weight of that dark energy had worn down his spirit.

When they entered the room, Kaiser immediately sat cross-legged on his lower bunk. He was determined to practice the standard meditation method Professor Elara had demonstrated in class: "Channel the mana like a river into your core, gather it in the center, and purify it."

He closed his eyes. Thanks to his magic power (B+), he quickly sensed the mana around him. However, the moment the mana entered his body, it began to behave not like a river, but like an uncontrolled storm. The pure ice energy and that dark Destruction energy collided within the core.

"Ahh!"

Kaiser's chest shook as if it were being pounded from within by a sledgehammer. He couldn't suppress the metallic taste rising in his throat, and he spat bright red, warm blood into his palm, then onto the white sheets. His body trembled, aching as if his core were shattering.

"You're doing it wrong," said a soft, melancholic voice.

When Kaiser lifted his head, he saw Ash sitting on the edge of the bed, looking at him with a worried face. Ash placed her delicate hand on Kaiser's sweaty forehead. "Don't use that method. What Elara taught is for pure elementalists. Trying to compress the mana while that destruction is inside you is like lighting the fuse of a bomb."

Ash slowly moved behind Kaiser and rested her hands on his shoulder blades. "Don't gather the mana, Kaiser. Release it. Don't melt the destruction energy inside the ice; let the ice be a vessel that carries it. Now... breathe."

The warm, soothing energy emanating from Ash's hands penetrated Kaiser's chaotic core. Whether it came from Ash's "Lust" blessing or his Incubus blood was unknown; Kaiser suddenly felt his body relax, the pain subsiding.

Kaiser slightly opened his eyes and glanced sideways at Ash. Ash's long white hair cascaded over his shoulders, his pink heart-shaped eyes glistening in the moonlight. His delicate lips and feminine facial features were so captivating that Kaiser felt his heart race for a moment. A warmth settled on his cheeks, his face flushing involuntarily.

"Damn it," he thought to himself. "It's unfair that he's this beautiful."

But just then, noticing Ash's flattening chest and slightly widening shoulders, he mentally slapped himself. "Snap out of it, Kaiser! He's a man! Just an overly... delicate man. You're here for the women, not your roommate."

He cleared his throat and pulled back. "Okay, I get it. The flow is easier now."

Ash smiled, a smile purer than ever. "It's normal to make mistakes at the beginning of the path. But your core is now more stable. You're very close to reaching the intermediate stage."

Thanks to the critical tip and correct meditation method Ash had given him throughout the night, Kaiser felt an immense lightness in his body when he woke up in the morning. The turbulent, blood-curdling storm inside his core had subsided, replaced by a heavy, dense, and much more stable energy.

Kaiser knew exactly what it meant for the core to ascend to the Intermediate Stage. It wasn't just about having more energy; he had also gained a "vessel" that allowed him to use his B+ spell power and C+ spell energy much more effectively. Whereas before, casting a spell would strain the core to the point of cracking, he could now circulate that energy through his veins much more smoothly. This was a vital advantage for someone like him, who wielded a heavy and costly element like "Destruction."

Kaiser surrendered himself to sleep, filled with the peace of the power echoing in his mind and the mana flowing more freely through his veins. He was right; such a rapid rise was impossible for a normal student. However, his B-level potential, that sharp B+ quality in his magical power, and most importantly, the constant strain and expansion of such an intense element as Destruction at its core, had accelerated this process like a bellows.

He knew he would maintain this momentum until reaching the Intermediate Stage, after which he would encounter real walls. But until then, he would leave many at the academy in the dust.

He thought he was growing power too quickly, but it didn't matter—compared to the monsters at this academy, he was nothing.

He slowly closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep.
