Once my blade drew closer to the eye, a giant gash formed as purple blood began to drip down from the eye. Even though I struck it with all my strength, I was just barely able to put a dent in the eye, and even this injury that I had just inflicted soon healed, as all the eye needed to do was blast me back again.
Or rather, it looked like it healed at first, but despite the wound no longer being there, purple blood continued to drip down the eye, making it pause for a few moments in realization.
