The party sped up, and after just another hour of walking non-stop, we reached the end of the sewers. The tunnel was slightly bent upward, and up ahead was a staircase that led all the way up toward light.
As the first person to see the light, I was relieved.
We'd finally be able to leave this hell, and if Amon had set everything up just like Rain had said, then this would be like a safe haven for people.
I wouldn't have to worry about anyone, and I could finally resume my training. I felt like I was close to achieving the Sword Heart, but... it's harder than Amon said.
With those thoughts in mind, Rain stepped forward and led the rest of the party up the staircase, until eventually we arrived at the very top. To my surprise, the light was deceptively bright.
