Knowing what would happen if another one of them died, the Demon Kings all banded together, stepping in front of the attack and using their Gifts, bodies, and even all forms of movement techniques to slow the attack down.
It actually worked, as by the time the attack reached Wilhelm, it was already barely negligible. Or that was what they likely thought, until the attack violently sped up, piercing straight through Wilhelm's body and only stopping once it reached the poison-wielding Demon King.
The attack was seriously powerful, but it was obviously not enough to finish them off. And as expected, after just a few more moments, they healed, as did the support-type Demon King.
Just this time, they didn't attack right away, giving Aliyah a chance to back off.
"Amon, can you take one of them off me?" Aliyah asked out of nowhere.
"I could try taking Wilhelm."
She raised a brow. "The strongest one? No offense, but you won't be able to handle him."
